My 370z is far better on the TCS than the 350z (276) was. The '50 was so jerky and very voilent when the TC kicks in. The '70 is much more gentle, sometimes you can only tell its working as the light is flickering. Saying that it doesnt come on very often so hard to tell, but its certainly a lot smoother, doesnt just cut all the power, keeps power going even when its working, just reduces it enough to stop the slip.

It got my car specs right at least, right down to it being an auto and a black edition. No doubt Google will make it work, and it will take over from GoCompare. But they have to learn that even if they deliver products using Agile methodologies and in "Beta" it should at least work and only have some bugs. You shouldnt soft launch a product that clearly doesnt work, but being Google, people say - hey its ok - they can fix it later. If I did that at work, you'd all be going ape-@*!# if it didnt quite work

I will be upgrading to an iPhone 4s when my 3GS finally gives up, just no incentive to go for a 5. Anyone who thinks LTE will be anything useful is a fool unless they live in an area covered by EE and are willing to pay what will be inflated prices for the privilege. What O2 will do to comeback at this is launch Wifi everywhere which will no doubt be quicker (in real terms, not theoretical terms) and cheaper

Not always true, it depends on the circumstances. We are looking at dropping the Zed as it doesnt get used due to me and the missus car sharing, the fact I dont have parking at work, and the fact that when we would use the Zed on weekends we want to go riding. If we did let it go, I'd have no problems coming back to it when we have a triple garage and the money to keep it as a Sunday and/or run it as a daily driver again. Horses for courses and all that.

I've just given up on getting cheaper fuel, its not going to happen. Been on the FairFuel campaign since the start and the only difference they've ever made is claiming that they got the government to put off a hike in tax ONCE in many rises that I can remember. Thats in a a good few years of campaigning. Simple economics says we are happy to pay for higher fuel prices, and until people seriously stop going to the pumps then they will continue to rape up for tax. But we're not going to see everyone suddenly stop going to the pumps. Thats the reality unfortunately

Looks a wee bit like Borrowdale from a few of those pics. We've had a couple of runs out recently. Firstly we had a day out at Peaslake with Andy and Rab from Dirt School. I'd heard good things about this team for coaching north of the border, so when they announced they were coming south I jumped at the chance. As it turns out they didnt have as many take up their offer as the thought so we got Rab and Andy to coach a group of just 5. Made an amazing difference to Amanda's riding, shes so much more confident and carries much more speed now. Even she can see how much quicker she is and is just growing in confidence. Then off to Cwmcarn for the weekend. We did one lap on Saturday just me and Amanda, then her brother joined us on the Sunday for another lap. I think we nearly killed him as I dont think his fitness is where he thought it was Tent was a bit damp in the morning, but it was nice and hot to soon burnt off!

Fancy sending us a container full? FairFuel campaign just shows how much power the government have over us. They claim they got them to put off the next raise - whoop de do - we dont need them to stall, we need it lowering. The basic facts are the government/country are in massive debt and fuel is an easy way to pay for it. Doesnt matter what oil prices do, they will continue to hit us for it as they know its a good revenue stream. Enjoy it now while you can before we get priced out of it and then the oil dries up

NFC? Bit early for me yet? Contactless payments - like having a contactless card on your phone. You can attach it to a real card number if your issuer supports it and use it to pay for stuff. Most of the UK is really ramping up with the tech now, but obviously not enough for Apple to take note. Maybe next time when there is some new payment tech about to take over they will add NFC. Apparently it was left out as it'd make the phone too fat, someone should tell Samsung that as the S3 supports NFC

Real shame it doesnt have NFC, that was going to be my main reason to upgrade. Roll on 5s or 6 then

Make sure X doesnt have any secret questions and email addresses/phone numbers as alternate options for contact. Sounds to me like she has set up her email/phone to be the alternate, so when you are requesting new passwords, she is alerted and goes and undoes it, or even when you have set a new one, she can get back in using the secret question. I would tell Google/Facebook customer services what has happened and they should tell you exactly how to secure it all again. If in doubt, close the accounts and reopen new ones. Good to hear you are making some progress though
