  1. yes Not sure its as easy as that, but yes, you keep roughly the same offset as wheels get bigger. Tehnically the offset should get larger numbers to compensate I think. Any good wheel vendor should be able to help with it. The main thing is to start of with the width and offset of a wheel you like and work it from there to make the ones you want to match
  2. Guys try to keep the comments out of here Think a tidyup to leave just the pics is in order soon.
  3. Well i did try to get you to go But we got Nixy there in the end after we reassured her that we were not a bunch of internet weirdo's. I cant say the same for members that have joined in the past year though myself, husky, tarmac and biscuit resemble that remark Dont tar yourself with their brush
  4. +1 - give it a go, if you dont like them take them off. Do the sides first then decide on if you want the bonnet too
  5. Shh, I told you're allowed to know about it
  6. Think the speakers are 4ohm. I seem to remember them being half normal ones, which I think is 8ohm. Either than or normally its 4ohm and they are 2ohm
  7. Wasnt there a how to on here not so long ago about cleaning out a so called dead motor to make it work again. I think the brushes get all maky and no connection but a clean out makes them work pretty well again
  8. By more do you mean ANY? Hey, hey, he did JapFest once My biggest regret was doing some mods that werent reversible, and getting my Recaro's vs retrimming the standard seats. But thats only lost me a few hundred quid on trade in and I've had so much fun with the car, club and meets that I dont care. Wont be doing the same with the new one
  9. This was posted up on the US foums a few days ago - looks like good fun - I want winter tyres for xmas this year Anyone speak German know what hes going on about? To me it just looks like good fun! Certainly give my mates Evo on summer tyres a good run for his money Think Colin needs to reinact it next time it snows too! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uCSR_GuM1DE
  10. service manual is in the guides section viewtopic.php?f=35&t=2945
  11. Depends on the width of the wheel too. I'm no expert, but with the offset and spacer you want the overall offset to be about 20ish give or take a few mm and of course depending on your preference.
  12. From what I can gather - ~25 on the front and ~20 on the rear EDIT: Or they maybe +30 all round. Found them on Z1auto and there seem to be different specs you can get for the LMGT4s
  13. Lower the number the more it sticks out. IMO somewhere around 20-25 is quite conservative, 15-20 is pretty agressive and lower than 15 is mad and mean For reference my Rotas are +25 all round, but I think +20 all round would have been perfect in them
  14. Do you have the service manual? There is a section in there that details the door locks, and might help you out, you need section BL-82. I cant post it from work as Photobucket doesnt work from here. PM me an email address and I can forward it on if you like? Or there is a download link around here somewhere but I forget it Admitedly it doesnt show you much, but going in blind, it does show you where the bits are
  15. Far cheaper to get a pair of matching show plates made up with the Envy logo on That reminds me, will need some http://www.370z-uk.net ones made up for the summer
  16. 1/ martinmac if I have to walk there. 2/ SunGodRA - need to confirm, might be in Mexico then 3/ Muddy (sat) 4/ Scott 5/ ATTAK Z 6/ MadMarky 7/ Patman 8/ Greekman -if i dont forget about it until then lol 9/ Smudge (if life gets better and I get a job by then) 10/ Chris`I (TBC)
  17. Welcome back Jay, good to see you are still on form
  18. I used a bulk pack of normal Damplifier to do the whole boot and rear cubby area. I also cut up some "kit mat" that you get from camping stores to sleep on and put that on top of the Damplifier. Its a closed cell foam so stops airbourne noise a bit
  19. Yes as standard it can be very noisy. I overcame it by ripping out the interior and putting in some Second Skin over the wheel wells, made an amazing difference
  20. Best assuming you dont do it yourself To be fair it was a machine vs a chap with a grit bucket vs a pressure washer and what can only be described as a broom! Hardly a good test. The detailer they had on was fairly good at pointing out swirls and other defects. I still stand by the fact that you do it yourself, get a pro to do it or leave it dirty til you can do it
  21. Cool cool, will probably only be 1 night and somebody doesnt have any holidays left
  22. Looks like I might be able to come to this, will confirm shortly. Whats the deal with accomodation?
