    Wheel Nut Torque

    80 ft/lbs or 110NM, or there abouts
  4. Did they park behind our club stand? Yes they did Chris. Can't say I was impressed with his mods either, bonnet didn't even fit properley.
  5. Did they park behind our club stand?
  6. Apprently the part of the car they tether it to can take 5000KG of force on them and they still broke
  7. Yes that will be coolant temps though, not oil temps. Oil temps take quite a bit longer most find.
  8. This will be a must in our climate to help get oil temps up when the engine is cold.
  9. ScratchX is pants, and hence is fine to use on Nissan soft and thin paint Its (old) T-cut you have to watch out for I dont find ScratchX does a lot really, I think it has very little cut and more fillers to hide the scratches rather than remove them.
  10. Wowsers, this is going to be a massive stand! Hope we have somewhere very central
  11. Yeah saw this on the news earlier, absolutely mad! They shouldnt be able to tether the wheels to something that cant take the force and fails too
  12. Yup, the whole point of martial arts is self defence, if you were seen to be kicking the £^$£% out of them, then you would rightly be penalised
  13. Yeah, nowhere near as common! Or expensive
  14. Do you mean the spiggot rings? Chris is running on the Rays, so no spiggot rings in there I'm sure there are plenty of checks to do, I just dont know what they all are I'll go see if the service manual throws anything up. If it runs on so long I have the 370, you can have a quick go while I break your car
  15. Wheel weights is normally vibrations at speed in a straight line, this is just around one corner. Could be one of many things I guess, bearings or some suspension bits spring to mind. Might be an idea to fire a PM off to ZMANALEX, what he doesnt know about Zeds isnt worth knowing. He will help you methodically find what is the culprit I assume you've checked all the lug nuts with a torque wrench Chris? Should have said you had the prob the other day, I could have taken a *ahem* test drive Unless its just started.
  16. The only difference in this instance, is that I have never found a dealer who knew the 2010 model was updated. So you wouldnt know until you bought it - if say you'd seen a 2010 demo, but then bought a 2009 ex dem/pre-reg - without knowing the difference
  17. As Stew has said, if you have oxidisation, you will need a polish with some cut - so Dodo Lime Prime over Lime Prime Lite which has no abrasives. As suggested, if you want to stick to all Halfords kit, then Megs Clay, Super Resin Polish and Extra Gloss Protection are a good start. Mind Dodo clay, born slippy, Lime Prime and wax of your choise arent much more expensive, last longer and give a better finish over all. Just depends on if you want to go out now and buy the bits or are happy to wait for delivery. I use i4detailing, Matt is great and has super fast delivery - you'll likely get it all tomorrow if you order it before lunch!
  18. +1 Where are the details of it? No he is right, it is white gold. It was in the news a couple of weeks ago. It belongs to the king of one of the middle eastern coutries, who obviously has far too much money and needs a little help spending it I'm up for helping Wouldnt like to be the detailer that has to look after that Or would that be a jeweller?
  19. Yeah, its all a personal preference. All (reputable) filters on the market will do their job and flow plenty more than an NA car will need. I just always get narked when I see people cacking it about reoiling filters. As long as you follow the instructions, its not going to be a problem. If it was all true, K&N wouldnt still be going
