  1. Would have been a good excuse though, we should have rigged it
  2. All will be revealed soon, hold your horses
  3. Totally agree. The problem may then be making the decision to pay up or walk away and order a new one somewhere else Just push the dealership and tell them you are fully prepared to walk away from the deal. They'll poop a brick and let you have it for free
  4. Well done to all the winners Better see it fitted at Wales or there will be trouble
  5. He knows its true A good manager deligates tasks - in this case they all go to Andy. A great team they have there though, watching them change my cluch and flywheel just showed how much they know about the car, they did a great job
  6. Yeah, where the Top Secret short ram intake managed to make better gains than the Stillen G3. Some beleive it has unicorn blood powering it for a short ram to beat a CAI IMO just goes to show you can make a dyno tell you whatever you want to see.
  7. Good writeup indeed and does show how the experience can be tainted by bad customer service. I agree with most of your points, especially the boot, which is something I am tempted to "mod" when mine arrives. And the paddle getting in the way of the dial On the engine and gearbox front, you were definately comparing apples with oranges, with a 370z 7AT with only 100 miles on the clock against a remaped 350z. I have driven a 7AT with 4k on it and it was as responsive, if not more, than my 350z with lightweight flywheel and 80k on the clock. I think if you were to drive a manual with more miles on it, you would be much happier with the car. The car will be sooo tight with 100 miles on it, they shouldnt even have let you taken it over 4k RPM or full throttle according to the owners manual The gearbox is lovely and smooth once its worn in too, much better mapped than the G37 which uses the same hardware. The G37 is too smooth, feeling like jelly, the 370z feels more direct. Using manual mode for pootling around does let it down as it makes the changes faster even when not gunning it which can make it feel horrible, the thing to do then is to use the paddles in auto mode if you want to override which gear you are in then it makes a nice smooth change still. Make sure you post picks of the Cayman when you upgrade though, they are lovely cars
  8. Its because the phone doesnt support Flash Just voted again from home Pauls nearly second, we need more votes
  9. +1 - it is their mistake not yours! They should've thought of the hike in tax -tell them you'll be asking for advice from Consumer Direct / Trading standards that should shut them up I would very carefully read the contract before hitting up Trading Standards. I think you'll find the contract will have plenty of holes for them to add "unforseen" costs, it will be a fairly standard contract which will be very well written
  10. Not my cup of tea, I wouldnt pay that much for the name
  11. Very nice, dont want to know the price of the bits though, going by the fact their short ram intakes are over $1k alone
  12. When did they expect it to land? If it was after the new showroom tax was introduced then you should be paying it, but it looks like they forgot to add it. So they are probably legally right in adding it, but I would push them for some good will gesture like £500 worth of servicing or something. Basically they cocked it up, but probably can charge you for it

  14. Only the team are allowed to progress the countdown. It has to be a different one each time and each one can only do it once
  15. No one wins it was all a publicty stunt! Hold your horses, all will be announced in good time.
  16. Yup, not only Z33 loveliness but the whole family
  17. Yep it went up last night Doh! Good job I got mine the other week, although only for 6 months this time and will loose 2 of them (well will claim them back )
  18. Another thumbs up for Dell outlet. When I was at uni I got a £1400 laptop for £700! Hadnt even been turned on, it was returned as part of a bulk order which wasnt needed so no one had touched it. Just have to time it right to find a laptop that you are after
  19. Hopefully he will retire soon then Cant wait for his 20k post to be spam, it will be a race between the team to get it deleted
  20. I beleive the restriction in the stock system is the cats and y-pipe, so replacing them with decats and an XYZ will free up some flow and noise. Not sure how much noise it will net you though If you want performance over noise, then an XYZ pipe and remap is definately the way to go
