  1. Well I cant afford to have kids in this day and age, so think I'd rather have a kick in the balls too
  2. Yup, smilies are FF upgrade issues, nothing to do with us gov! Try upgrading to the newest version, fixed it for me
  3. Uh oh, better cut up your credit card now
  4. We're looking into it guys. At the moment it looks to be an issue with the web spiders from Google and Yahoo causing us problems. Monitoring it for now to see whats causing it. Dont worry, we'll have her tip top shape again in no time
  5. mmm not sure about that, 10 made per year ... makes them pretty rare for a start... then again would the value loss of one of them be higher then 200k? Probably... but the insurance company doesn't want to pay out 500k if they can get away with "only" paying 300k... Yeah fair point. Dont want to see that renewal when it comes through
  6. What tyre sizes are you running? TC is likely in a huff as the correct rolling radius isnt being used
  7. Sure that would be a write off? £300k to fix and £500k new, surely it wont be worth more than £300k after its been repaired?
  8. I would imagine its a new one. Watch out on the specs and make sure its a MY2010 if they are charging you full whack for it as the nav isnt half as good on the MY2009 as the MY2010 They have quite a few coming off the boats these days, so long as you pick the right spec, they are pretty much ready to drive straight off the forecourt.
  9. So are you trying to find one just to test drive or are you trying to source one to buy? For a testdrive, just find anywhere that has one and take it out! Its really hit and miss which places stock them, I think like GTRs and HPCs, only certain Nissan dealers can sell 370z's. Down here, most dealers dont have them, but then WLMG have 3 (or more now, havent been in a while!). If you know you want a yellow one, then just phone around and get one bought. They have a special finiance deal out on them atm too IIRC. http://www.nissanpress.co.uk/press_site ... 917nis.htm
  10. Sorry to see this Amy, such a shame after such a long wait! As Andy says, you could get the interior flocked pretty cheaply, and I dare say if you give them a ring and tell them the story, you might get yourself a great deal from them, as most of the cost in flocking is labour, so they might take pity and do a really knocked down rate for you. Afraid I have to agree with the others with respect to selling it, I think you will really struggle. I would start off by ripping out the interior, strip it back and flock it. See Craigs car, it looks amazing. Then look to get some new seats etc. I have a pair of leather ones that need a retrim, but they could do you as a replacement for a while. Will look better than the interior I remember your car having. I also have a spare steering wheel that you could look to get retrimmed at some point. Open to offers on them, but would be collection only.
  11. Good to see Lee has it covered Moved to 350z section
  12. Depends on the condition of your paint and how you are applying. Do you want to do any proper swirl correction by machine, or are you just after a nice clean finish by hand? If by hand, I would just use DD LP and be done with it, it has some bite to it so will hit some of the swirls, just dont expect full correction. Hope that makes sense
  13. Yup its a great weekend or day out
  14. Moved out of the RareRims area
  15. +1 - red was my No 1 choice before I saw the Black Edition
  16. As Stew says, should be fine, give it a go. But budget for camber/toe bolts and possibly A-arms and camber arms, so if you do need them its not a shock.
  17. Chris`I

    carbon wrap

As long as its not down to the actual weave, you should be able to get someone to flat it back as the others have said and re-gelcoat it and then laquer it for extra protection
  18. Its a difficult call, but as long as price and pics are posted along with meeting the criteria of minimum posts, the seller can sell to who they like. We try to catch them when we can if they dont meet this criteria, but bar vetting all For Sale posts before allowing them to be posted, theres not a lot we can do. Sorry
  19. Should be polish first then LP. LP is a wax pre-cleanser, it removes any stuff left before waxing, thus should be used after polish Also if the car is already swirl free, no need to polish, just use LP.
