  1. It doesnt work like that on most browsers Rich cos when the PhpBB creates the forum it creates a table which will have a minimum width. On most browsers when this width is past it simply cuts of what you can see rather than resizing. Here is the solution to whoever develops the website (probably Chris) in the style sheet you need to get rid of the following section from the header or alternively a easier way is to make a copy of delete bottomr.png and rename a copy of bottomm.png to bottomr.png Hope this helps I was planning on doing your first suggestion. The buttons dont actually encroatch on each other, its that spacer portion that needs removing. Chances are the theme was developed for 1024x768 and standard buttons, so mostly looks fine for most people

As usual I have a comment contrary to general opinion, which is that the throttle isn't limited in any gear. Uprev logs show that you get wide open throttle in all gears, well actually I can only speak for my car, but theres nothing special about mine - its a prefacelift DE. The difference in the low gears is that as standard the acelerator pedal movement is not linear with throttle opening, in first you can press the accelerator 3/4 way and only get slight throttle, making the car feel very lazy. But if you put your foot right to the floor you DO get full throttle. The Uprev throttle maps makes the car more responsive in low gears, but does NOT actually give any more throttle opening. What ROM was that on? Was that before UpRev was applied? AFAIK, UpRev by default (ie their default maps) removes the throttle restriction. Abbey or RSTuning will be able to confirm what really goes on, or even UpRev themselves, as they are on the forum, but not often.

  5. He doesnt like the look of you
  6. Yup, I realised that was the mistake I was making, the ones with sliders already meant it didnt disapear. I think I know whats causing it, and while I have the power to change the HTML, I dont have the power to flush the cache afterwards so we wouldnt see a change. Will get those Admin type people on it
  7. Do you know what screen resolution it runs? Unfortunately, most sites are designed for a minimum of 1024x768, and its below this size that I have noticed the problem. I fear with these smaller devices, we are in resolutions lower than the theme was ever designed for
  8. Sounds like belts to me. Does it do it more when its cold? If so thats the belts. Dont know why it does it, I would guess its due to more pressure on the power steering pump which causes the belt to slip slightly.

  10. +1 same as a K&N cone filter, just another brand that chose to call it something different. Bleedin yanks
  11. Why does it matter? Sorry but I dont sit in the car timing my wing mirror shutting, I'm out driving it
  12. I do like the S2000, couldnt have one as a daily driver, but if you are happy with it Rich, thats the only thing that matters. People tell me I'm mad spending so much on a new car when its "not that different to a 350z", but buying cars is emotional, you do what makes you happy So you going to be doing another Car Limits day in this one? If you are maybe we could have a lap or two at the wheel of each others cars
  13. Has been reported before, but most of us are unable to replicate it which means debugging it is very difficult. I have 3 laptops in the house, a netbook and my iphone and all display fine on IE8 and FF (and Safari for iPhone) on any window size (not tried different resolutions). Its obviously a certain screen res combined with IE that causes it. What res are you running Dan? Maybe we can replicate it using the same res as you EDIT: Scrap that, can replicate it on my netbook, will have a look as to what causes it when I get a chance
  14. As has been said, due to the influx of dodgy sells and this place getting a lot busier over the past few months, we needed to implement a approval system. phpBB gives us this out the box but means all posts have to be approved. We are working on a solution that means subsequent posts to an approved thread don't need to be approved but phpBB doesn't do this out of the box. It's a case of a few spoiling it for the majority, but we find that genuine members of the club don't mind this inconvience due to the security it brings. Also it reduces the stress on the moderating team to read everything as it's posted.
  15. Its not Craigs actual bumper, but the same make and model
  16. This is where we met last time Portobello Inn : http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&sourc ... 22301&z=13
  17. Probably the same pub that we met at last year, will go find the details
  18. Depends when we get them tbh. These things are always closely done, so if we get time they will go out in the post for you to have ASAP, or maybe given out on the day when we all meet up in the car park.
  19. I'm sure everyone will like the new setup for shows and events, looks good, much tidier than just having threads
  20. Yup, I agree... I only overtake when I have a good long line of sight +1 - and its amazing what a help local knowledge is
