  1. Having an auto, I dont really find it a problem as I dont have a clutch to play with. Knowing Nissan there will be no easy way to disengage it. Ye old way of removing fuses doesnt tend to work these days with many systems running through a single fuse or even multiple fuses for one system
  2. Can I chuck my bikes in the back? Fancy doing another ride out with AK Pencil me in for this. Bit far off yet to know what I'll be doing, but will try my best to make it
  3. People seem to be missing the biggest differentiator of the lot - who is the better driver? Having taken a Zed and a Cayman (and S) around the track, yes the Proker is faster and more clinical, but if you are a better driver than him, you will beat him A-B. Hell, you dont even have to be technically better than him, just know how your car handles better than him. I've seen fast cars be beaten enough times by sheds to know the biggest factor is who is the better driver. So get some driver training (if required) and whoop his ass
  4. Its in place to protect the members from spammers who were appearing to make a quick buck. As we've said many times before, its going nowhere. If you want to make a quick sale, this isnt the place, get it on eBay. PMs are the way to communicate and seal the deal, they stop all the dibs, second dibs and persuing arguments of chosing one member over another
  5. Do it right and use this. Stew pointed us all to it IIRC quite some time ago. Treat all my cars with it now, works a treat
  6. Neither, they are T20 wedge bulbs, like side lights but bigger. Chilli Red will sort you out a set
  7. As we've said before, the system is in place to protect members until we can put the final approval system in place. It was more of a headache formthe team before the current system was put in place trying to control the spamming and dibs craziness. Unfortunately we do have other day jobs to do so it's been on the back burner. Buyers should always PM the seller and not rely on posts being approved quickly, that depends on who on the team is online at the time. I believe we have covered this before, I'll look to see if we can make mention of it in the rules.
  8. Nissan suggest not taking it above 4.5k RPM for the first 1200 miles IIRC. My school of thought, as with many others, is just to get it warm and take it to the red line over some time when its warm. Not that I condone this as it may invalidate your warranty, but it has been seen to provide more power and better (read less) oil consuption as the rings seat better. Modern engines are run to the redline on the bench when they are made. IMO the only reason car makers say to keep the revs lower until over 1000 miles is so that things like the tyre release agent can wear off, brakes can bed in and anything else that may go wrong will do so at lower speeds and revs. The engine doesnt need any nannying other than getting the oil nice and warm before you have a play Oh and I beielve many bike teams also openly admit they rag the engines from new
  9. I'll say no then, wait for the 370z-uk.net stickers
  10. Get a PDG on that and make sure a panel hasnt been sprayed. No way it would have come like that from the factory. Dirty and swirled, yes, but not overspray. It could of course be from the smartguard they applied. Why anyone signs up for that stuff I do not know, you are far better off getting some decent wax/sealant and using that, about 1/10th of the cost and just as good. You can have 10yrs protection for the same price Good work though, that car has come up lovely.
  11. I'm sure some 370z-uk.net stickers will be in the pipeline shortly, as Martin has pointed out. And all donations are greatly welcomed, they help pay the bills
  12. Get some proper megs plastic polish instead, far better sure halfrauds do it.
  13. The finish isnt half a tough when its wet painted. What wheels do you have? For most wheels there is no harm what so ever in having them powder coated 2 or even 3 times.
  14. Oh yeah you cant be us here for a UK site, but the stuff they do over there to and with 370z's is way more than us. Cant beat us for being the next best thing though
  15. Its about half and half atm, not all old members who had 350z's Not a lot we can do about the370z.com either, they are a massive site with a load of good info. No reason Google would promote us over them tbh.
  16. I was looking to get some Philips Vision LED bulbs to go with my SilverVision indicators, they aint cheap though. I would hope they are good quality though.
  17. I'm really impressed that we have such a high number of such a limited car on the site
  18. 083 - Adriancrown - Black 091 - wizardofoz85 - Black 095 - Chris`I - Quartz 104 - Chippy -Quartz 135 - MBS - Quartz Dont get me started on the whole "Black Edition". In my mind (and not offence to black owners), its a 40th Anniversary Edition which should be in Quartz as with the rest of the world. Ok to JDM had red too, but most of the 40ths are Quartz and it was meant to be a 40th only colour
  19. I havent done it in the 370, but did in the 350. One thing I learnt was not to use cheap LEDs, they burn out too quickly.
  20. Doesnt bother me much if they dont post a price, I will always ask a trader the best price they can do for me. If I've been a loyal customer, I'd expect a bit of extra discount. When I was hammering my 350z up and down the motorway and getting it serviced every 5 months, and getting it serviced at the same place every time, I got more discount, and rightly so, I was giving them good repeat business. I dont see this as any different. However, I do prefer if a trader posts up an item specifically for sale then they give their current price for the item
  21. Oh and of course, because ours are Quartz, they are the quickest too, lest not forget
  22. 095 - Chris`I - Quartz 104 - Chippy -Quartz 135 - MBS - Quartz Mine is the lowest number/first customer Quartz in the UK, confirmed by NMGB Make sure you add your name to the international list on www.the370z.com too
