  1. You're the new James, he's forever paraniod that his plates are wonky after Wales
  2. Similar problems on 3GS for me. Certain things that were fine before are now slow. I notice that the forum doesnt quite display right when using quick reply (my text goes out of the text box so I cant see it!), and text messages take ages to load and sometimes dont send right. Ipod function also broke when I downloaded some podcasts via WiFi direct to the phone, had to sync to PC to solve it. The new features arent good enough for me to want iOS4 any more, give me back the simpler iOS that was quicker!
  3. Theres just more of them - blimmin common cars
  4. No need to remove the battery mate. Take off the battery cover, then there are 5 or so plastic pop rivets (like those that hold on all the trim/bumber/etc). This will allow you to remove the plastic covers that make up the bit that the battery cover goes into. It spans from just in front of the battery cover, back to the window and across about halfway of the window. As Ian says, remove the rubber strips and you will see. This should help (its for US cars so reverse the sides that you do stuff on ) - http://liljerk.morpheus.net/350Z/firewall/
  5. Dont worry about the lack of a Zed, many here (like me) signed up when looking for one, great way to find out what they are about and what to look for etc. As Stew said, we're all true petrol heads at heart and love pics of any nice motors

    I feel sick

Nothing beats properly bedded in breaks for inducing a bit of Remember to bed them in periodically if you arent using the car spiritedly too often and getting the brakes hot (ie a lot of motorway miles) as the pad transfer that has occured to the disc can wear off and it doesnt work as well.
  7. Shouldnt be a problem with a normal hose, but a pressure washer directed at the brake pad area may wash out the grease
  8. Name and shame I say, that's IMO, but sarnie has already told everyone so you may as well give all the details
  9. Don't know why they say the silvervisions aren't orange enough, they aren't white at all on my car
  10. Sounds like a good deal for 7hrs work and a few layers of DD SN
  11. PaintSheild is what you are after
  12. And I have both And an offical trader
  13. Works fine for me i hated it, dries out too quick and doesnt spray well enough, i gave up halfway through and made some out of some old halfords shampoo i had lying around Works fine for me too. I find shampoo tends to foam up too much. Born Slippy works fine for me, the same as Megs QD
  14. is that why some posts are missing? Dunno mate
  15. Welcome to the forum. Why not post up in the Welcome section and introduce yourself
  16. Maybe Dan doesnt want to play with us any more?
  17. Stays 99 long enough, it would have to be rather old to start to drop octane ratings.
  18. It is true that with polished lips that one stone chip through the laquer can ruin the finish as water gets in, this happened with my Rotas on the OEM finish. However the proper powder coat laquer that decent shops like S&P and Lepsons use is inherently stronger and thicker. When I had mine redone again, and done properly, the finish was far better and only discoloured when I caught a kerb, no problems with stone chips
  19. Agree its an MY06 not MY07 that's been sitting about before registered. You can't put a non-bulge bonnet on an MY07. +1
  20. Good choice sir, they will look great
