  1. Rules are at the top of the Swap section, just like the For Sale section. I'm sure these are likely to change as we all get used to it, but its a good start
  2. I heard many moons ago that there is one control unit that does most of these funky things and it was maxed out in the UK car with extra features (such as headlight washers) so that the options in Japan couldnt be added. Dont know how true that is, but it might explain it.
  3. Wonder if there are any members near by that fancy seeing if they can park in it? Would be a simple answer! As Chesterfield said, there is no standard size garage. My garage is about 2ft maybe more wider than the garage door, so I have enough room. My mate has an Evo and his garage is barely wider than the door and can just fit his car in, but you wouldnt get a Zed in there and be able to get out of it!
  4. You tried one? I did and I was sold. Shame I have to eat really or one would be on my drive! +1 - the peak figures for the car dont do it justice. Although torque doesnt appear to be up much, its up across the whole rev range and just pulls and pulls. Handling is like rails compared to the 350z, which wasnt exactly shabby. You need to get out in one and chuck it about to appreciate it, I didnt fully until I got mine to the Wales run!
  5. If we all make it there on time it will be a miracle
  6. No need to kill em Dan, just ban them
  7. 350z-uk.com/forum/ They get everywhere! Also on You Tube, on the control/player bar, click the little football
  8. Not a lot useful changes, the best ones are grouping of apps (press and hold an app icon til it wobbles, then drag it over another to group them), and the general speed increase.
  9. Will do, where can i get it from? I tryed amazin, ebay and halfords. is this it? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Meguiars-Deep-C ... 92&sr=8-12 Where to get Megs SRP or decent wax? Megs can be had from Halfords (white bottle, red label), decent wax can be had from one of our many Dodo Juice traders on here
  10. Ditto. Read up on the reviews and theres not a lot that the iphone 4 offers over my 3GS. Can spend the money on more fun stuff like bits for my MTB or car
  11. Fixed for Sarah Ok, Just to confirm, meet here. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&q=c ... a=N&tab=wl TAG "A" on the map between 7 & 715 am, then drive on to here: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&q=p ... a=N&tab=wl TAG "A" on the map. Hope this clears any confusion? Please indicate who will be there. 1. Zugara. (paul)+1 2. Demolition 49 (josh)+1
  12. Try Red Mist on it after a wash, it does a wonderful job of providing a great glossy protective layer. Doesnt last as long as supernatural, but so easy to apply after every other wash, keeps everything tip top. You make a good point about the ease of washing too. Not only is it easier on you, but its easier on the car, which means less swirls. If you snow foam it first, it removes even more and loosens up whats left, so even less pressure is needed, keeping the paint even better
  13. In fact the bit you need to click is "Release all on-hold messages" in that message text
  14. Somewhere in that message text, there is a link which releases the message if you have space. Make sure you have deleted the old messages and then when going to the inbox, that message should have a clickable link to free the stuck message
  15. Fully agree with this. Anyone who has not done a full prep doesnt know what they are missing. For the effort of stripping it back twice a year (wash, clay, polish, wax), you are rewarded with not only a beautiful looking car, but also a much easier to maintain finish. When you have glass like paint, protected with a decent wax like DD SN, and topped up with something like Red Mist regularly (every other wash), it means the crap never sicks to it, so washing it becomes a breeze, much easier than a car that hasnt been prepped. You only need to do a full prep twice a year at most, so its not really any extra effort for a much better looking car
  16. If you ever try to take photos of swirls, you realise how hard it is to get the right angle. Still, if its that hard for you to see them, they will be very minor, so some polish with filler will help you out a lot. Megs Super Resin Polish has fillers in, try some of that, followed by a good wax and it will go a long way to hide them while you save up for a detail
  17. Swirls can be hard to reveal, it takes a certain angle of light, usually sunlight is good, or hallogen. You will have swirls everyhere if you have them, as its induced when washing the car, it just likely you didnt get the right angle to see them everywhere. Also pro detailers will likely get rid of most, but not all defects. Dont expect perfection, our paint is thin and soft, so a nightmare to try and rid them of defects
  18. Yup, get the plugs done. Officially they are meant to be done at 54k miles or 5yrs, but BigPhil always told me that they were on their way out before that, suggested doing them at the 45k miles service.
  19. Plenum spacer does make a reasonable difference in isolation. Speak to Abbey about the best combo for what you want as sometimes certain combos work better than others
  20. Fidanza flywheel? I would imagine so coming from Alex
  21. That would be my logic too, helps to smooth out gear changes, mainly up shift as it stops the revs dropping too quickly. With a lightweight flywheel I found it more prominent which means it was deliberately holding the throttle open a little longer. Didnt give me any issues what so ever in driving the car, and made heel/toe easier as you didnt have to blip the throttle as much on down shift.
