  1. GA should be using the asyncronous tracker meaning it should load the full page before it sends the stats off to Google. This should mean it doesnt affect your browsing. Clearly it is in your case. Do you have Firefox? If so grab Firebuy and PageSpeed/Y-Slow and see what takes the longest to load and let us know
  2. Is that book any good Andrew? Was looking at getting it myself
  3. Damn those pesky guys at Megs. Why do a polish (SRP) and a sealant (EGP), yet have sealant in your polish? Still I wouldnt class SRP as anything other than a polish and would apply a final LSP such as wax or sealant on top as SRP wont do a lot to protect.
  4. Whoop - sorry its blurry and not actually fitted Big thanks to Mr Tarmac, excellent service and superior packing (never seen better tbh!)
  5. Thats because SRP is a polish - as the name suggests It offers no protection. We can get technical if you like
  6. I think Amanda and I need some better tyres. The stock Spesh ones are very fast rolling, but not the grippiest of things. Fine down here for dry mud trails, but murder in the Lakes on wet mud and rock Had a great ride out around Swinley last night, only did 7 miles but was more a social ride anyway. Was a bit dusty in the dry though, especially when it got dark, was like riding in a sand storm!
  7. Good work buddy Personally I would just use wax instead of EGP, never found EGP added anything in terms of looks/shine. I found EGP gave quite a dull finish compared to waxes, maybe stick some Red Mist over the top to give a nice wet look shine, it does protect quite well however. Something like Dodo Supernatural topped up with Red Mist gives great pop and nice wet look shine instead of EGP
  8. You can get lovely light pretty big travel bikes these days Geoff. Look into "trail" bikes, they will have more than enough suspension for the UK and also be light enough to hike up the hills too. Very jealous you are close to some cracking natural and man made trails
  9. Its nothing on the forum side, its with our hosts. We will look into it and see what we can do
  10. Would suit Amanda nicely, but I think its better specc'd than my bike!
  11. That will look rather nice. Will be weird to see your pics with a blue bike PS Dont curse the weather.
  12. Its most likely a loss leader. The loose a little bit of profit on selling the fuel, but the amount they then sell in the store leaves them in net profit Tesco have done 5p/litre off for years on and off.
  13. Good progress chaps - look forward to seeing this fired up
  14. Flywheel is a dual mass affair. After enough miles the dampers between the two masses become ineffective and they start to knock together. Plenty of people have had this around 50k miles but swap them out for lightweight flywheels or new dual mass when swapping the clutch. That could be the problem.
  15. The race is on - mines coming to work so better bring the socket set
  16. Her answer will likely require 110% of my brain capacity
  17. I like the look for that Andrew - good work I hope it took you about 1hr if its going to take us 3hrs I'll not tell Amanda, I'll say its just a nice short ride! Sorry to hear about your frame, but its a nice excuse to get some nice shiney stuff which is good in a way. Take it as fate to upgrade
  18. Avids are dead easy to bleed, just get the proper kit and follow the instructions. Makes a world of difference if you can do them yourself
  19. The main benefit of getting a cat back system is removing the bottleneck of the OEM Y-pipe. With a more freeflowing one you should see some good gains, maximised with a remap. Dont know anyone else whos had a straight through, be interesting to see what its like. Dont think the rear box is much of a restriction though.
  20. Very nice James You'll have to come to the Lakes next time me and Amanda go see Andrew properly
