One of the round key rings arrived 'free' from Nissan about 6 weeks after I bought the car But as Mike says, it chips too easily . Might be me being security paranoid and no offence Tim, but I don't use it with the car key and use it with other keys that I keep separate. No need to help a potential thief identify and nick your car if you do lose the key or have it pick-pocketed.

Previous runs have included part of the 'golden triangle' that is listed in that leaflet - hope it features again but there are are also a number of other great roads used

Having enjoyed a ZED, in 5 minutes of Mini ownership you'll be aching for the thrills of the ZED , but yes, we all have to make compromises. If I had to rely on a cheap town run-about for a while I'd go for a Suzuki Swift Sport (it comes with the stripes etc if that's your thing) and then use/save the £k's you'll otherwise have to spend on a Mini and the bits you are thinking of adding. I am not sure that with all the Minis now appearing the present relatively good residuals will remain a few years on - we shall see. I now

You driving it or it pushing it? If I see more than 20mpg its a treat, but then when my other 'alf when on board she seems to think I drive too fast so perhaps that's the reason

jeeeze................. sorry i asked............. It was a very good question - Stuey was not asking for their home address. If locations similar to what Stuey and I have done were given then when owners shout help for best local service etc and we see they are local we can perhaps point them in the right direction but when you have no idea where they are from then they are likely to get less response

I often wonder if some do it deliberately - whether its jealousy or they just don't like cars they perceive as being 'excessive'. More likely its simply down to an inconsiderate attitude - they don't care less, or they don't control kids (or themselves) from flinging doors open, or the cars or not theirs (company/lease) or they are simply don't think - probably that one is the main reason. Do not have a need for a courtesy car as a NISSAN dealer is in walking distance and I have no issues that couldn't be done the same day on either current Zed or the one before. But, in terms of customer care, the Honda garage we use for my wifes car couldn't be more helpful - we are 15 miles distance - they will come and collect her Jazz and deliver it back or we can use a loan car. No charge either option and with the loan car just refill the fuel used and sign their insurance thingy about £250 excess for damage (fair enough). I opt for the loan car - chance to try something different - CRV's, latest Civic's etc. They also will do small fix-its while you wait (adjust door closing etc) - no charge or paperwork just good old-fashioned 'service'
