  1. Yeah, that swung it. We are buying a house and I figured keeping it as an asset you either do it or you don't.
  2. Um... a lot, I mean personally, but not compared to a body shop!
  3. @*!# yeah, they may not thank me if they get a 'visit' about this interesting new side line ..
  4. LOL pic added now (had to link to it externally, the upload attachment doesn't seem to do anything...)
  5. Had my car over 3 years, it started peeling paint off the bumper mid way point and I had kerbed the alloys but with low mileage and it driving as well as ever I figured I am not in any rush to buy anything else so why not make it look nice? I've used CS ever since the initial recommendation on the forum for servicing, since when have had them investigate road noise (banana bar), upgrade my brakes, and finally took the plunge and handed it over to roll back the clock on the bodywork. Three weeks later, picked it up Saturday night. WOW. Stunning. Andy's a perfectionist, even the presentation (wouldn't have been surprised to see dry ice when he opened the garage door just to complete the effect). Took the bumper off, blended the wings, the alloys look brand new, painted the discs to make them match, polished all over including the exhaust. Really pleased went ahead with it, can't recommend these guys enough
  6. against the law to leave a car on the road with a cover over it reflectors must show by law! Daym...Get some reflective strips and sew them onto the cover Good thinking
  7. Haha! I thought so! How's your head? ROFL you know what I ended up with a MASSIVE lump which is now just a lump. No broken skin, bizzarely
  8. yeah, leaving it on the road though so just be a bit mental paying too much and someone just lifting it
  9. My Zed's in with CS at the mo having a clean up and want to keep it nice, can anyone recommend a reasonably priced cover?
  10. Is this a track day or a CarLimits Airfield Day? If its an airfield day I would recommend that you inflate the tyres as they explain. This is partly to protect your sidewall and rim of the tyre in high speed corners, and partly IMO to reduce grip so that you slide easier and break away is smoother. I always pumped mine up to a few PSI shy of the max stated on the side of the tyre and had no problems, full speed 70MPH slides with no adverse effects. A friend didnt heed this advice and after his first spin on the high speed bend we could see score marks on the tyres only a few mm from the rim Needless to say after that he pumped them up sharpish! Yes, that's the one. Hence the question really - what IS the maximum pressure for those tyres?
  11. I have Falken 452s front and rear and going on a mini track day (hi speed corners, cones etc) this Sunday, circuit advises inflating to maximum to protect the walls, I usually have them at 35 all around, what should I increase them to?
  12. I've pinged them a thread asking for a recommendation that includes fitting. I basically want iPod, Bluetooth, compatibility with the wheel controls and, if poss, DAB.
  13. Thanks for the offers everyone, CS has actually decided it's worth me taking the car down before we determine what parts are necessary so it'll be a couple of weeks before I can manage that
