  1. I use the the black drink bottles (with the push down cap) that are made for bicycle holders and fit the MY06+ door bottle holders a treat. As I am on a diet (Mrs Ebized thinks its for her and the quacks benefit but for me I'd noticed the weight was affecting the car's performance ) so no food in the car
  2. I didn't think it was stupid and it helped to clarify something for me and I've been around a lot longer than you
  3. Black for me, when you luv a car you don't mind the cleaning and getting the shine back adds to the appeal
  4. +1 that was my thought too but GuUmball seems sure it is a heat spot
  5. I've just cancelled my NW run as I can't fit enough cash in to get me round at those prices
  6. think its more likely operator error than photobucket. Works fine for me. Once you uploaded the pictures to the photobucket website, just use the IMG code it supplies under each picture for posting here. Nothing else to do Mike's quite right - if IT ain't your one of your best skills (in my case by a long way) it did take a bit of time, and help, sorting out how Photobucket worked but now I can muddle through OK - here's one to wet your appetite for the NW run
  7. I can see them Jay - fire and wall come to mind? Interesting and excellent shots Louis - its like going back 80+ years when all photos were Sepia - and, no I ain't that old
  8. I am no expert, but what you are describing is all too familiar. Noting what you say about others in the company have been successful at their tribunals is it worth contacting them for contacts/tips etc? I am a firm believer in not 're-inventing the wheel' it is not necessary. Whatever legal help they got could be invaluable for you, being placed in a similar position. I presume, as you have not mentioned it, there is no 'union' or other body you suscribe to that you could use to help? Anyway good luck and I wish you well in what is an awful situation when you have given loyal service for so long.
  9. you sure http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12242
  10. As long as it dosen't do this (Pic courtesy of Mike in another posting )
  11. Perhaps Sarnie has kept a set of the keys
  12. Mike: after all the hype about Nissan taking humbridge over imports it seems strange one of the nominated garages has one to show off - a year or so in advance of the official sales here?
  13. That's what I thought and looks like he's doing the salesman's job
  14. Of course - you are training him so well in the art of hacking and of course and you left off 'al' on the other bit
  15. So what version of the '3' is this one Mike?
  16. Usual pre first event tonight at 6pm with Martin Brundle on - ITV4
  17. Ebized

    350Z rival

no +1 - (no pedigree to speak of)
  18. A true ZED convert - didn't care where you are - just enjoying the thrill and then a wave into the bargain on your first drive
  19. hope you get the sponsorship you are looking for Pleased for you about the sale - be good if both you and your (ex) car with the new owner all stick around on here
  20. But the G did sound awesome going up that dual carriageway
  21. Nice pitch Digsy Welcome Chris.d - plenty of these then:
  22. I share the coments above - prices are currently depressed but then if they were better the Lotus garage would probably be asking more for the Exige so you end up having to pay the same diffeence - swings and roundabouts. If that's the car you want go for it - you can see that selling privately might give you more pain and you could end up losing out all round. You might be able to get the garage to offer a free service or extended warranty etc down the line from the sale, which dosen't affect their sales cash flow now that is more critical for them at this time of year.
  23. Who you kidding Tm - "original" - your's has got to be one of the most modded ZEDS around (all nicely done of course ) I use the ZED when I can - as AndySpak says, sometimes it might depend who I am meeting (but the car does add to the cred in some cases and becomes a talking point adding time to a job - at the client's cost of course But then there are some places around South London where you don't risk taking the car (sad to say that ). But after using the other 'alfs Jazz its so good to get back into a real driver's car and sod what the weather's doing, if it means a little more care, but still having fun, then that's what it's all about for me - you only live once so I make the most of it At my age I have to
  24. From what you have described the garage has cocked up and probably now see you as gravy chain and no disrespect mate your age ain't helping. (Takes me back when I was in my teens and I got had over by a Vauxhall garage that ripped me off for unnecesary work due to my inexperience) Get an independent report - AA/RAC or similar, before going any further and insist they give you back all the parts they removed from your car so that the engineer can tell in the report whether they are fit for purpose or not. But I have to say that I admire the fact you have ZED at 19 - makes Shire350 on here who claims to be the youngest positively old!
