    clutch

Welcome They all get stone chips - Nissan paint, or rather the lack of, being the culprit. Clutch wear all depends on how its been used. But as you must be on the doorstep of ESR's premsies I'm sure Big Phil will sort that out for you for not too many ££££Â£'s, when the time comes.
  2. Nice looking ZED Looks like you had the TC button on there

  10. Yeah.......couldnt help thinking where is the rest that is broken off
  11. The only downside as far as I am concerned is that you are so far away from Surrey! I bought both my ZEDs (one s/h one new) from a local trader who I have known for 40+ years and is highly trusted and has an excellent workshop. But he does not specialize in ZEDS so when it comes to aftersales work and spares I have to go elsewhere. The fact you have built up a really good customer focused service for ZED owners seems to me a great base on which to expand your car sales side. I am unlikely to buy into a modded ZED at my age now, but from what I have seen and heard would have no hesitation in suggesting to any wannabes to check out what ESR has to offer

  18. http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/www/ca ... 0305257353 As an owner of a similar age UK ZED that sale price is a bit depressing but a good buy if its as good and sound as the advert says.

See if you can find out from the previous owner(s) if the problem was reported to a Nissan garage within the warranty period - if it was then you might stand a chance of some pay-back. I got a free set of front boots on my previous 04 ZED (within the warranty period). I did have to get a 4-wheel laser check for the local Nissan garage to send to NMGB as the garage didn't have the equipment. They will also check to see if your chassis no. matches with their list of suspect cars. I'm not convinced many garages "do tweak the alignment" - if they do not have the specialist equipment I reckon they just put on the new boots and say to themselves that it will be out of warranty before the problem comes back and leave things as they are. The feathering/noise issue on my car did not become noticable until the car had done about 15k and the tyres were about 60% worn. Good luck
  21. And if you are not sure about resizing the pics on your computer I have found the photobucket option for resizing very effective - it helped to produce my sig pic below recently
  22. Oh, come on, do you want your nappy changed too now? From that comment you have got little idea the work that goes into these events. organized by people who (regularly) get off their butts and do something for the 'club'. Beavis has a locked Sticky with update/status so you only to read one post, if that is your reading limit.
  23. computer exhausted then Chris?
