    Sleeper?

Wow, that is real stealth - link doesn't even allow you to look at it
  4. Welcome to the forum - and nice looking ZED you have there, and yes lets have some more pics of that spoiler as it dosen't look like a Nismo one from the angles seen so far. And hey, if you are giving it a blast tomorrow - come over to Maderia Drive (Marina end) at Brighton tomorrow late morning and show your car off - see the link for details: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic ... highlight=
  5. Welcome to the forum - still got the smile after 3 years of ZED ownership Do you still have the 356 - nice motor and worth a bob or two now if in good nick, oh before anyone else does
  6. A blind man wanders into an all girls biker bar by mistake. He finds his way to a bar stool and orders some coffee. After sitting there for awhile, he yells to the bartender, 'Hey, you wanna hear a blonde joke?' The bar immediately falls absolutely silent. In a very deep, husky voice, the woman next to him says, 'before you tell that joke, sir, I think it is only fair -- given that you are blind -- that you should know five things: 1. The bartender is a blonde girl with a baseball bat. 2. The bouncer is a blonde girl. 3. I'm a 6 foot tall, 205 lb. blonde woman with a black belt in karate. 4. The woman sitting next to me is blonde and a professional weightlifter. 5. The lady to your right is blonde and a professional wrestler. Now, think about it seriously, Mister. Do you still wanna tell that joke?' The blind man thinks for a second, shakes his head, and mutters: 'No.... Not if I'm gonna have to explain it five times.'
  7. Bring it along to Brighton on Sunday - see http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16769 With quite a few ZEDS there might prove useful to help put the word about
  8. I've had to that on a rally in Wales in the 1970's but as the co-driver I was 'ordered' to do the engine cuddling bit, at night. The car was a 1600E with a newly developed TJ fuel injection systems fitted but the first time out it came apart and with no quick fix available the bonnet was taken off and put in the back and I had to sit there like a lemon for about 3 miles clinging on for dear life working the control arm on the injection. Mind you, when it was all working that car was like the proverbial @*!# off a shovel on tarmac Ah, the good old days of night road rallies......
  9. They are pricey agreed but they, with the screen wash, really come into their own at 50mph+ no doubt why they are so popular for rallying/racing Not so good for cruising the back streets of 'pool trying to find a garage to park in
  10. I also use the PIAA Vision screen wash with the PIAA blades - well worth the £6 or so for the 350ml bottle IMO - also available from ESR
  11. Nope. The 296 engines were introduced about Spring 2006 (but had been used in the GT4's) - sorry but as far as I am concerned someone is advertising that car as something it isn't Expect it was 'old' stock being registered later in the year.
  12. Upgraded 2006 UK interior (Brodit phone holder, snooper power lead and added power socket excluded ) + cup holders in each door panel you can't see in the pic - the former cupholder on the passenger side was changed to a business card holder but I use it for coins for parking/toll roads.
  13. HHmmmm But compare the tyre profile of that era to what we have these days
  14. Good wishes to Phil for a speedy recovery - no doubt helps he has left the 'hot' seat in very capable hands
  15. I don't know the mileage of your car and it will depend on how the car was treated in the past, but it might be the mountings (engine and/or gearbox) are a little shot, or slightly loose? You can always feel a 'tremor' on the gearstick on the move or idling. If you have lingering doubts it might be worth trying/riding in another ZED for comparison to see if yours seems worse. Perhaps someone on here local to you can help with the comparison, failing which just go for a test drive where one is for sale.
  16. When did you say your insuarnce renewal was due Lexx
  17. The humax recorder is supposedly due out this month for £300, as has been mentioned - gives you all the sky+ features (pausing live TV; recoding two progammes at once etc) so am now waiting for that. Dosen't have all the channels you get from Sky (but not being a footie fan dosen't bother me) but with as well Freeview means you get most.
  18. Nice Wouldn't like the tyre bill though

    Rear Screen

In my experience ncb's are unaffected by glass breakage claims but are subject to an excess being paid by the owner and a restriction on the number of claims made.

  21. I'm laughing, but boy that ain't far off the mark
