+1, wouldnt want to create more damadge or risk the zed +2 A shame you had to introduce yourself with a problem but welcome, and do get the car up on a ramp and professionally inspected sooner rather than later - something is bent for the shaking you are describing, whether it is the inside of a wheel or the supsension is impossible to say without seeing the car, but would hate for it lead to a breakage and possible worse...........

But you don't 'alf look a prat when you go out in the morning and get in the car with the latest girlfriend and realize you've left the steering wheel under the bed

Mores the point, do they get a chance to find time to do anyone else's tyres - dare we ask how mant £10's you have paid ps: won't tell Liz, promise

A bird on each arm - can't be a bad start and what a fabulous looking place for a honeymoon - have a great life together, oh and drop by this site when you time and energy - be good to hear from your again

A slight aside, what type of equipment should a tyre fitter be using to remove and replacing tyres to avoid damaging the rims - just thinking if I do get a puncture what to check for.

A rear bumper like 3fiddyZ has on his would look good with those skirts

The motorail was (don't think it operates now) similar to the Channel shuttle train - gives cars a piggy back ride, although pasengers rode in carriages then, and in the case of the lazy Ritchie types they would opt for a sleeping car.

You have one of the best cruising GT's around and you want to put it on a train - that ought to attract a Sleep while moving! Tut tut, if I as a bus pass holder finds the drive from Surrey to Scotland in the ZED far more rewarding than contemplating hitching a lift on a train, I'm sure a young whipper-snapper like you would find it a doddle

Thanks for that, I wanted pics of the car rolling! Colour co-ordinated with the sky too

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.... its bad enough June getting on the computer to order the next outfit, but then to mix it with the other WAGs on here about what they are going to buy to keep up with our very necessary ZED purchases could cost a fortune Concerns aside, a very warm welcome Bex and looking forward to you keeping the Mods on their toes with your inside knowledge -
With Stew's prompt, here is the confirmation tucked away at the bottom of the page - dosen't say how much he lost by, but then his team got place, if not a win viewtopic.php?f=13&t=22903&start=15 Can now lock this thread mods

Got home about 10pm last night from Wales and just started catching up on the new threads and Wales pic and tit-bits. Another great weekend and fantastic turn-out with lots of new faces (just wish I could remember all the dual names (username and real!). Lets hope no-one gets a brown nasty through their letter box to spoil things given the extraordinary police interest. The only bad driving I saw over weekend came from idiots in Novas etc prancing around with undercutting etc and who end up being the reason why insurance premiums are so high . Have to say the assembly of ZEDs at the Sportsmans Arms was sooooooooooo impressive, despite the rain Will post pics up on the Wales pic thread once I have them sorted Gutted to hear Steve's ZED took exception to a part of the A5's tarmac on his way home - hope he gets it all sorted under the insurance and it would be great to see him get another. As I remember, ending upside down in a ditch did not put Ian16 off getting another and he is clearly enjoying Nismo R and the exhaust noise from that ZED was by far the loudest as he climbed the hill out of Betws And the reason we got home late we took the opportunity to explore various roads in Mid-Wales on the Monday, only leaving there when darkness arrived. And found some fabulous driving roads whilst some of the scenery was breathtaking................. Just a sample Anyone who reads EVO will know the area where these photos were taken Did about 180 miles in Wales yesterday in a right old mixture of sun and showers. Not one camera van or even a police car in sight - guess they were all resting up after Sunday

Welcome to the forum Unless you are made of money, and ceratinly after the warranty has expired, use a good independent garage as the concensus is to avoid (most) Nissan dealers, especially down south where hourly rates are through the roof and the standard of service is often reported back as 'iffy'. If Cheam is not too far for you pm me and I will give you details of an independent I can recommend. Otherwise, do a search oh here and someone more local to you may be along with some suggestions -
Mine is not fixed any more. It came off a few weeks ago and is dangling by the cable. No detrimental effects, though. I've heard several suggestions for this... I don't have sat nav, so it probably isn't that. Phone aerial has been mentioned a few times (but the bluetooth is in the arm rest?). I've also heard central locking receiver. I’m not sure, but someone here will know. As GIXXERUK said it is the integrated phone pick-up from the 'chequer-board' aerial at the top and middle of the screen. Serves non-bluetooth phones so old-hat really now but then that goes along with the retro tape deck in the Bose Oh, and welcome to the forum Roger

she loves it really, but just dosen't want to admit it

Got the stand-by car park at Bala ready Dave Latest Met Office forecast suggests it may not be too bad on Sat pm and Sun runs, but ain't it frustrating when everyone has spent so many hours getting their cars ready and it gets crapped on before you even start. The hill fog predicted for tomorrow in Mid Wales has put me off a drive up that way tomorrow, so I'l see what Monday is like for doing that area on the way home

I agree with the others and having driven a Noble and Exige at a performance car event at Mallory I was very impressed with the Noble and rather like the Zed, its rarity adds to appeal. Not had a go in a TVR 350 but whilst the sheer brute power and the fact they are a pure driver's car is appealing, the reliability factor surrounding TVR's and now the potential difficulty in getting spares etc would put me off ownership. But I guess the 'safe' option is the Lotus - and 'Kev' on this site will no doubt sing its praises.
