  4. Welcome the forum S/h 370 prices are knocking on 20k nowadays Mention has been made about the last 350 model with the necessary bonnet bulge for 309bhp HR engine. But be aware that bonnet is a popular mod for earlier 350's, when you are looking Having had 276bhp; 296bhp engined 350's and now the 326 bhp version in the 370, there is really not a lot in it performance wise on the road. In my experience, and in standard guise, the 276 engine was more suited to the 350 - the extra rev range of the 296 really only coming into its own on track or long straights. The 296 has slightly less torque, which is what matters in everyday driving. But then the facelift in 2006 and onwards did mean you had a better cabin and other desirable bits, like LED rear lights. Bear in mind also that models pre March 2006 pay the lower road tax, which makes absolutely no sense but good luck to those owners.
  5. As others have said, the 040 and 050 are completely different tyres, although they are both Bridgestone. That is likely to lead to handling issues and potential dramas in the wet. Notwithstanding the ballsache you have had and the garage is not local do go back and get the 050s fitted - at least it seems they can change tyres

Came across this review - the comparison table is interesting as are some of the reviews - anyone from here in those http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyres_For/Nissan/350z.htm

  12. But unfair to compare his times like they did with the Suzuki the others drove. Quite clearly the Kia is a much faster car and better suited to that track. Not so - there has been 14 others before Bishop in the Kia - see here for who drove what http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Top_Gear_test_track And faster than any of the pro drivers (albeit not in the Kia), by some 2 seconds. Watch it on the Wednesday repeat - his lines and commitment are brilliant.
  13. Don't bother - roadsters were not kitted out for bluetooth connectivity - you will have to get an aftermarket kit.
  14. Wouldn't be this TO one by any chance, just seeing they have a 56 gunmetal plate in as well...... http://www.s2000-4u.co.uk/nissan-350z-g ... re-1122300
  15. The current list which Bishop now tops were all done in the Kia Replay on Wednesday for those who missed it - his lap was one of the best I've ever seen, including the pros.
  16. After watching the vid on here: http://www.autoblog.com/2010/11/01/bmw- ... urburgrin/ Would she accept a contract that says she must not speak to anyone Or not wear a bra

    Stillen Exhaust

You will not be disappointed. One downside is that I can't stop polishing my big tips
  20. You are not wrong, for all the ZED engines Nissan 'recommend' 98 (RON) premium unleaded and you should have a sticker on the fuel flap saying so and it is mentioned in the handbook. It also says that if it is not available: "unleaded regular petrol with an octane rating of 91 (RON) or above may be temporarily used, but only under the following precautions: Have the fuel tank filled only partially with unleaded regular petrol, and fill up with unleaded premium petrol as soon as possible and avoid full throttle driving and abrupt acceleration. However, for maximum vehicle performance and best driveability, the use of unleaded premium petrol is recommended. " Its those last bits why I put in Tesco 99 I believe you will find the rating for Optimax is now 97 - it used to be 98. But as others have said, the the car will run fine on 95 as the ECU adjusts to changes in the fuel being drunk.
  21. the 4x4 version Chris But not with the 1.2 engine if you want to go anywhere in a hurry
  22. Didn't see it all but that was a mightly impressive lap by John Bishop - not surprised at the result. And a few nice put-downs he issued to JC.
