So you like the "fangs"? I didn't when the 370 was first released and although on the darker colours they are less prominent they weren't for me on my chosen colour. I also decided to 'match' the wrapping at the rear - having seen a few painted examples on the US 370 forums helped convince me. Beauty of the wrap is that with the aid of some hot air you can remove it. But after 18 months I certainly have no plans to do that and it is as good as the day it was done - well done the guys at rgva (Trader on here). Not sure if you have seen my thread after I had it and the exhaust done (an essential 370 upgrade), but here it is: viewtopic.php?f=103&t=31681&hilit=wrapping On the face of it the car you have spotted looks fine and with low mileage - obviously subject to the usual checks. Likely that the tyres will need replacing soon - check the tread and for a decent set of tyres you need to budget C£1k although a set of Falkens 452's might save you £400, but the sidewalls are really too soft, unless you are soft with your right foot

It was back in May he apologized for not being able to spend time on here and address member's queries and from his lack of posting that situation appears to persist. So lets see his answer and then the question of locking the thread can be reviewed. -
That's what I like to hear

Agreed. If the right level deterrents are in place it does the job - here we seemed to have reached a stage where our "deterrents" on getting caught are seen as adding to the street cred Can you wonder when Parliament invited petitions that the first to gain the greatest support was that to bring back the death penalty.

You sure, because there was also another vid of yours we saw at the same junction of the same car doing something equally silly. Don't take us for fools Post that type of thing again and you won't last long on here

+infinity...+1 You listen to the parents, and they are scraping the barrel intelligence wise, they have three kids, they tell these kids they don't need school and that the government should feed and clothe them and cater to their every need. Oh life isn't fair that people that spend years training, learning and better themselves get better paid jobs over them who sit on their backsides doing nothing. The hard working and intelligent people are being outbred, like the Currys girl earlier, these kids are about five or six years behind their age in intelligence, and before anyone says it its NOT the government, schools or anyone elses fault but their own. I went to the fourth worst school in the country and got my GCSEs, A-Levels and Degree, sorry but I just don't buy it. Knowing you are expecting a child and sure as hell won't want or let them grow up like we have seen, what do you suggest is done to stop the rot? As a grandparent I am extremely proud how my son and daughter-in-law are making sure their two childern know right from wrong at 3 and 1 years old and are being taught good manners and routines - basic discipline in other words. I just hope when they get to school the disciplne continues there and that children of the ilk we now see ruining this country don't undermine the good parenting that has taken place
-
Thats the problem Colin, the schools arent allowed to discipline the students, nor expell them. F'in stupid these days, HSE and PC is ruining this country. Kids arent scared of anything any more as they know no-one is allowed to actually do anything to them. God help us then and given the way these riots have kicked off it is not far from full blown anarchy. Having dragged in a load more police for this evening in London let's hope the scroats don't try it on elsewhere

rtbiscuit said: "he turns up in his tracky bottoms, but they sit half way down his arse. he wears his hoody, uses the term innit alot and swears at everything. and thats just one of about 30 in my school." And that is where it is all going wrong from the start - dosen't discipline figue in schools anymore? It can't be that many years ago that if that happened the Head would be out on his/her ears, and the lad concerned expelled. I am amazed you can/have to put up with it

+1 Graham And see what that fecker in that vid, who helped himself to something out that lad's bag, is openly carrying in his back pocket - looks all the world to me like a truncheon http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-14456065

When I heard a witness on LBC this morning saying she had just lost her home in one of the blazes and then to say she saw cars drawing up and the parents telling the kids to jump out and go into a store and grab what they can, that just confirms we have reached rock bottom. And it sadly seems a high proportion of the gangs are of school age and no coincidence it is the school holiday time when boredom is at its highest. It must be abundantly clear, to even the most die-hard do-gooders that the human rights legislation is destroying our society when it is used by those intent on criminal or other illegal activity as a licence to do just as they please. Until adequate deterrents are put in place and at the first sign of trouble it is stamped on without the need for the police to look over their shoulders before they make a move, we are lost. And as someone on the radio said - get the culprits straight into Court and ensure the magistrates and judges also do not give out slap over the wrists, but that they get sent down for long periods and are publically named and shamed. Then the message might get through that such stupid behaviour will not be tolerated and they risk ruining the rest of their lives. Currently the law in this country is a complete and utter ass and there is a grave danger that if it is not addressed immediately London might as well forget the Olympics next year

Who's up for a Tunnel run..**Update P4 **
Ebized replied to DoogyRev's topic in Meets, Shows and Events
Taken off the Pistonheads site: There is the standard lane control using red X's and green arrows plus matrix boards. At the entrance to the tunnels are barriers and lights similar to level crossing barriers to stop traffic from entering the tunnel if needed. A moving central barrier can be moved accross the carriageway should it be needed to have a contraflow through one tunnel or to turn around the traffic, it takes and hour to move though!!! Now onto the important bit.... The SPECS camera's are position each end of the tunnels in the central reservation, which means no hiding behind trucks as you pass them (unless your on the inside of course!!) The cameras have now been home office approved to enforce both the 70 mph limit and the 40 mph limit. The RADAR in the tunnel is to tell them when the traffic stops, something falls off a vehicle, a vehicle crashes etc (nothing to do with speed enforcement). There are CCTV cameras everywhere. The tunnel is staffed 24/7/365 This Fezza sounds nice in there -
Wiki says: Duralumin (also called duraluminum, duraluminium or dural) is the trade name of one of the earliest types of age-hardenable aluminium alloys. The main alloying constituents are copper, manganese, and magnesium. A commonly used modern equivalent of this alloy type is AA2024, which contains 4.4% copper, 1.5% magnesium, 0.6% manganese and 93.5% aluminium by weight. Typical yield strength is 450 MPa (65 ksi), with variations depending on the composition and temper.[1] Duralumin was developed by the German metallurgist Alfred Wilm at Dürener Metallwerke Aktien Gesellschaft. In 1903, Wilm discovered that after quenching, an aluminium alloy containing 4% copper would slowly harden when left at room temperature for several days. Further improvements led to the introduction of duralumin in 1909.[2] The name is obsolete today, and mainly used in popular science to describe the Al-Cu alloy system, or 2000 series as designated by the International Alloy Designation System (IADS) originally created in 1970 by the Aluminum Association. Its first use was rigid airship frames. Its composition and heat treatment were a wartime secret. With this new rip-resistant mixture, duralumin quickly spread throughout the aircraft industry in the early 1930s, where it was well suited to the new monocoque construction techniques that were being introduced at the same time. Duralumin also is popular for use in precision tools such as levels because of its light weight and strength. Yes, I got bored

Stupid thing was trying to make love with its reflection in the glass and would hang around the car literally for hours. Although that pic was taken from an upstairs window I was able to walk up to and touch it - it was so engrossed trying to get its leg over itself
