  1. Thanks for your replies - Tarmac, I now have that in writing But seriously, will the combination of the Invidia AND Berks HFCs be OTT though? I want to be able to hear the engine / exhaust but don't want to attract the wrong kind of attention...
  2. Hi all, I'm now looking at doing the "normal" mild tuning stuff to my G37 (sister to the 370Z, if you're not familiar) and Tarmac has offered the Invidia exhaust at a reasonable price and suggested Berk HFCs to go with it. Aside from the extra cost, I am concerned about still passing the emissions test (2010 car) with the HFCs. Has anyone with a 2010 or 2011 370Z fitted HFCs and had any probs? I'm also speaking to Abbey about a panel filter and Uprev map as well as exhaust options - they have suggested an HKS, axle-back system and are trying to sort a UK price. Any comments or suggestions gratefully received, thank you. Will post updates if anyone's interested??? Buzz
  3. Thanks ZMANALEX, will certainly bear you in mind as and when I get round to considering upgrading brakes and suspension. As a first step, what are the prices and gains from the panel filters you quoted? lrh, yep, it's definitely no lightweight - guess the folding roof and structural reinforcement have a lot to do with that, but it's actually quite quick (although I'd be happy with a bit more quickness added in).
  4. Thanks for the positive comments, guys. Martinmac, not sure of your location but I'm in Kent - if you're thinking of getting one and you would like a look / ride / drive, just let me know, or if you just have any Qs. To Tarmac: I can't find a website for you. Presume there is one (not just the E address), I'd be interested in looking at the exhaust options from your suppliers and your input of what suits my requirements. Thanks.
  5. Thanks. It's called Vibrant Red and it looks a very similar shade to yours. Is it the same with a different name?
  6. pics of my Infiniti G37 as promised / requested
  7. good luck with the conversion planetsurfer: trust you will be posting progress reports (and costs?). mds - did you realise that Infiniti will collect your car, leave you a courtesy car then return your car to you when its ready? You really don't need to visit the dealership if you dont want to or its too far. hope you're enjoying the 370 though. So it costs about £100 per hp increase on the 420z and he's up to +1000hp! GULP! will now try to add pics of my Infiniti but been having a bit of bother with uploads...
  8. Thanks. You guys have got some fantastic cars with some great modifications! What sort of output does your 420z give, Tony? Surprised not to see you at the top of the bhp list!
  9. Thanks for your kind words, everyone and some useful info already! SamMcgoo, what is / where did you get your supercharger conversion? What do you think of it? Was it easy to install and / or expensive? Planetsurfer, which conversion are you going for? Who's going to do the work and what sort of power are you expecting? Oh, look! I'm getting all excited about this and there's no way I can afford it yet...! Still want to know though! Thanks Chris I - will look at the Stillen stuff that's suitable. I have been looking at what's available in the US (tons, as you probably all know) and a decent exhaust note and possibly a re-map are definitely top priorities atm.
  10. Hi everyone I was very kindly invited to join this forum by martinmac following a lack of response to a thread I started on PistonHeads. I bought an ex-demo Infiniti G37 coupe / convertible at the end of March which, for those of you who are not familiar, is basically a 370Z 2+2 with a folding hard top and a fairly high spec. I'm generally pleased with my choice and I asked if there were any other Infiniti owners who wanted to give their views on this or any other model in the range. It seems that there aren't many (if any) on PH! I would also be interested in mods available for my car and wondered if some all or any of those available for the 370Z would apply. I'm particularly interetsted in exhausts and would like to think that one day, a twin turbo conversion might be on the cards(?) Anyway, I look forward to hearing from anyone with info, advice or questions. Will try to post a couple of pics sometime soon.
