  1. Oh, that is what he was doing - have to say he had some staying power
  2. announcement here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/64073-a-new-moderator-glrnet/
  3. I hope you will all join the team in welcoming Graham as a new moderator. As a member who has attended and organized many meets and already offered much advice to other members, he will be a valued addition to the team as the forum continues to get bigger, better and busier. Well done and well deserved mate.
  4. Try the VIEW NEW CONTENT tab.
  5. Clicking on reply or quote will open the add-ons - then click on the single smilie to open others in a new tab at the bottom. Clicking on the blue arrow changes the options in that line or you can click on 'show all' and a new window opens with all the options
  6. GUNS now has a new gearbox (under warranty just before expiry). Symptons were a vibration through the gear lever at high revs and what Motorline Nissan at Tunbridge Wells confirmed as an "uncharacteristic" noise. On driving home I found the change into and out of 5th and 6th gears with the new box notchy or frankly less smooth than with he previous box. But first wanting a second opinion before I returned to Motorline I popped into Abbey Motorsport and after a test run with Charlie he agreed something was not right. Left him to have a look at the plate below the lever and he found the securing bolts could be adjusted and that immediately fixed the issue So a big thank you to Motorline for supporting my concerns about the box, and also to Abbey for sorting out the gearchange without a prior appointment. Reading a couple of the posts above about notchy 1st/2nd gear changes, has now made me wonder whether the plate adjustment might be answer given what Abbey found to cure what I was finding with the 5th/6th changes.
  7. Bought their first single 'Come On' when it was released in 1963 and I was 15 and to this day when I do (rarely) play any music in the car it will be their CD's. So yep, still a fan although I have to agree that listening is better than watching them these days Couldn't help noticing this latest track has those same two words as their first single in the end of it....co-incidence?
  8. Trust you are going for FTD for the descent
  9. Colin's thread states that standard wheel studs are 25mm The standard wheel studs are 25mm long. That means they will protrude 5mm through a 20mm spacer, but there is just enough room inhg the spacesaver design to accommodate that 5mm protrusion and allow the it to fit snugly on the spacer. Just to clarify - whilst the spacesaver will fit on 20mm spacers, I found the OEM 370 front wheel design would not accommodate the 5mm stud protrusion and that a minimum of 23mm was necessary to allow the wheel to seat squarely on the spacer(s). Hence the recommended choice of 25mm spacers, avoiding the use of slip spacers that were found to be responsible for disc distortion due to poor quality.
  10. Two of you wanting one each - job done when a pair comes up and you split the cost
  11. Sounds like you might need a new key fob battery.
  12. I suggest you contact choptop who is the area meets organizer for both the 350 and 370 models
  13. Isn't that supposed to be lucky Better than dropping mirrors and getting 7 years bad luck, eh
  14. In which case the thread is locked.
  15. If Perez was trying to impress his new team............
  16. Will: I get this if the seatback touches the belt holder and/or the rear bulkhead area - like others have said above ^^^^. I seem to remember you mentioning this issue to me a while back - did you try moving the seatback forward, just slightly? Or maybe just trying putting something soft behind the seatback before re-setting it to your preferred position? Although I do appreciate that with you topping 6' 7" space is, er, tight
  17. Would advise that whatever refurb process you choose, you request the face that fits the hub is untreated - certainly powder coating has been known to lead to disc distortion - ask tophooker (trader) on here if in doubt
  18. Hope you had a good one Chris - guess that would mean celebrating on 2 wheels now
  19. I'm sure DB know what he's talking about but don't forget Daryl works with it at Red Bull too Fixed that for you Graham..... unless he's been poached that's your chance of a clipboard down the pan Graham
