  1. Looks like a great project Paul - good luck!! Poor car must think it's some kind of chameleon with the amount of times it's change colour!!
  2. Always had fully synth (not that I'm sure it makes any difference) and mine doesn't use any (touch wood!). 2004.

    Powder coat rims

If the rest of the car has the accent colour dotted around in decent places then I can see it working. Otherwise, it looks a try hard to me....
  4. I do like the Nismo kits on the 370. Rear end is much better than the 350 effort!
  5. Going up through the gears or going down? If going up, then stop slipping the clutch. If going down, learn to heel and toe. +1 - basically try and drive so you don't get everything so hot.....
  6. H5 are you and Geoff a couple.... just going on his plate.... I have been looking for H1/2/3/4 for ages. Changing my name to Geoff might be going too far!

From those pics I think it is a badly fitted Stillen! The line looks pretty flush in the library pics above vs the OP pic.
  8. So sorry to hear this Jay. Always the worst times; but remember her fondly knowing you'll always have had the time you did.

I looked at INGs too but it comes down to the lip on the boot.

Looks to me like an OEM one that has been extended??
  11. +1 And I'd go either OEM pads or possibly Red Stuff if you need cheaper. PF if you can shell out the extra.
  12. I used laughing smilie as there isn't an ironic one....... Doesn't mean it should be done anyway!

    Aston V8

Know a couple that said never again. A shame when it looks that good!
  14. Mixed wheels and a stoopid single exit exhaust - as long as no-one was hurt it's no loss
  15. This year we visited the inlaws in France for one of our get aways. Normally we fly but decided to take the Zed as a last dedicated hurrah before the baby comes in November...... The journey was 850 miles each way, as they live about 100 miles from the Spanish border. Geographically, we are closer to Paris at home than we are at their place! On the way near the destination after a bit of a switch back detour And then had this as a view from the room when I got there Cleaned the Zed up before I went and it came up OK after all that road mileage With my mates 944 Turbo who did the trip with us And on the way back went over this Was a great journey. Lessons learnt and points to note:- * French speed cameras work * The Dutch drive slowly and in the wrong lanes * The French do OK at speed, but pick lanes at random * There are some awesome roads down there, do it * The Zed didn't skip a beat, did 30mpg including traffic jams and switch back blasts. Total of about 2000 miles covered in the two weeks * Tunnels are good! * Don't drive on weekend days in the summer in France - the whole country moves! It took us 13 hours to do the drive back thanks to them all deciding to take their Peugeot Partners / Citroen Berlingos to the beach for the day! But overall the roads are very good, worth doing

    Buying a zed...

Are you trying to devalue your car?!
  17. Moved. Waseem, check you're putting posts into the right section
  18. Go with the best you can afford. It is the only thing keeping you on the road.
  19. Only thing I would add is think forward. If you are buying a head unit and you want to be able to set it up then it will need some sort of decent EQ! Buying twice is always more expensive than buying right once.... Mine is set up via laptop using Alipne software. Not quite as good as I had it when I did it manually and was competing, but gets 9 tenths there for 1 tenth of the work!! I would listen to some of the speakers you intend to get if at all possible, with the music you listen to. More expensive isn't always better, spending the time on install and locations will pay dividends
  20. Thanks for that. I am thinking of trying to find someone who can glue pull - is it something you can do? The paint is free from damage or repair so it should be as good as any Nissan applied paint is for the job....
