  1. May I ask: "Who says?" Ta.
  2. I'm off to "sunny" Devon today to see my stealer and get my brakes fixed, plus some warranty work on the inside trim (scratches on the plastic - he's booked me in to "The Plastic Surgeon"s!). Looking forward to a burst down the A303! Enjoy your day.
  3. You guys need to learn to speke proper like wot I does ....
  4. Great report! BTW - I do like your rear end! Probably the nicest I've seen - Is all the bodykit from one source?
  5. I use mine a lot. Just speak clearly and plainly, both on calls and and when instructing the little woman. I wouldn't be without for answering incoming. Biggest pain is keeping the programming up to date. "Dial Name" - JohnK
  6. I'll aim for 1230. Anyone want to convoy from just north of Reading? JK
  7. My model is the 700 (pre the x10 series) and the only mike is definitely in the mount. Of course, all that is irrelevant now we've all got BT adaptors for our phones!

Another question: If you have the standard car configuration, might there be any benefit to having a remap done to optimise the specific build (kinda like what we used to do with parts, called Blueprinting)?
  9. But if you dont use the docking part, you dont get the microphone. This means if you intend to use TT's Bluetooth with your phone, you cant speak to anyone!
  10. Wouldn't like my beloved wound up onto one of those flatbeds wotsits! Besides, if you can avoid the morons driving in snow is fun!
  11. Shall I look after your Zed and scrub those Toyo's in for you?! What date is this again?! Don't wind me up - I've insured my 66yr old father and he'll be looking after it for me please say you are kidding? Dangerous ground here kiddies! JohnK (Aged 62.3!)
  12. I have a set. I've never used them (yet!). I keep them in the boot for those days when I'm out working and we suddenly have an un-forecast deterioration in the weather (I'd like to get home). Cheers
  13. I'm glad you said all that. What would that make the total bill? JK
  14. I do like your Ultra Yellow Smileys!!
  15. I've just noticed my wiper blades aren't thoroughly wiping the passenger side, and the rear one has a split one inch in the top end (presumably by turning on the rear wiper whilst it was still frozen!). My question is: How often do you replace your blades? Discuss!
  16. Alright, I'll ask the question..... Do you mean the wheels fitted to the UK Limited Edition 350Z Gran Turismo 4 model? Or, do you mean the wheels called GT4 by one of the specialist wheel producers? Cheers!
  17. 30,000 miles, 15 months .... ...and never been spotted! Is that because: a) the colour's not bright enough, or cos I'm driving to fast (spped of light, and all that). JohnK
  18. As some of you will know I frequent both forums and I signed-up for this as soon as it was posted in the other one! You can put my name down again in this one if you like
  19. I've run air-con on all the time for the last year. Originally I found switching it off produced very variable results so I left it on and its been fine. Engine revs are good too!!
  20. My process is slightly different... Normal running: Left Dial on Auto, Centre Dial on 22-23 degress, Fresh-air, Right Dial: Aircon On and Auto. Moist mornings (when the engine is cold and things look like they might get steamy): Check centre Dial is still Fresh-air (it does seem to reset itself occasionally) Check Right-dial still Aircon On andAuto Left dial, Switch on Heated Screen/Mirrors and crank dial all the way round to Screen. This clears the fron screen within quarter of a mile, then I rever left-dail to Auto. Rear screen clears within 1-2 miles. Cheers, JohnK
  21. Someone mentioned a target of a 100 Zs. Given we've got more than four months to organise, how about a more ambitious target? 350 Zs to Duxford! We could print flyers and leave them on parked Zs we see, and turn the whole thing into a *star* get together. What d'ya fink? JohnK
  22. I think you spelt it wrong.... We were the last straw - thats "the SE Rafia"
  23. Good run out chaps and nice to meet you all despite my TomTom finger shake! Picture wasnt my fault! I pulled right so David could take the middle ground but he just followed me (as usual!). He's just jealous mine is bigger then his ..... ... aerial, that is! An interesting run back! Thats two locals I've made friends with in one day! As I said, good to see you all. Stonehouse in January and Duxford in May? Cheers, JK
  24. One other titbit: For the Reading assemblage, if you are coming from further afield there is a Tesco with 99 Ron about half a mile from the rendezvous (due East in fact).
