  1. My reason for asking is that I'm told it is standard on all UK Coupe models (fitted by dealer at PDI) but my dealer says thats not true for the GT4. So nice though your Azure is it doesn't help answer the question
  2. Possibly!! Is the original bumper lip behind it?
  3. Unfortuneately I've only got a poor quality pic or mine which is without. However, if anyone can look its fairly obvious. Without it the bottom lip is part of the bumper moulding and usually has about an eigth of an inch of body colour sprayed along the top of the black vertical lip. With it, it is a fairly obvious clip on part that is immediately in front of the above lip. The add-on air dam/spoiler sometimes appears on e-bay!
  4. Just to double check - the bumper itself has a bottom lip but the aero kit part fits slightly in front of that (difficult to describe, but it definitely looks like an add-on as opposed to the bumper lip which is part of the bumper moulding, albeit painted black and not body colour!!).
  5. Could those of you with GT4 models with standard front bumper, please let me know if you have fitted to your car the front lower spoiler (part of the aero kit)? Also, if you have, do you know if it was it fitted from new? Thanks, JohnK
  6. I'm a one car Z owner. I've done 36,000 miles in 20months and enjoyed every yard! I've done two track days, CAT driver training day plus 30 laps of Nurburgring. Even standard brakes and tyres hold up well (my rear tyres lasted 20k, fronts 25k). Brakes (Brembo calipers) were worn out at 30k. All I can say is Vs the VX - all I can say is I'd rather drift a Z!!
  7. Looks great. Love the rear bumper, but particularly like the mailbox on the left wing - welcome to the British sense of humour!! JohnK
  8. Thanks for the info guys. I'm beginning to suspect my front bumper was re=sprayed before I took delivery of the car and the paint now conceals the join between bumper and this part. (I'll ask my dealer tomorrow - should put him on the spot). I'm about to get the bumper resprayed due to a few minor encounters but I've also discovered a crack about two inches high that in both the lip and the bumper - so much so they no longer align horizontally. So my next question will be: Can I just get away with a new lip and have the bumper repaired, or will have to get a bumper as well? Nothing's easy!!
  9. (MY03 Standard Bumper) Some time ago an item appeared on e-bay which was discussed as being a lower spoiler for the front bumper. From that, I assumed the black painted bar I could see under my front bumper was that item..... However, I'm now getting round to having my front re-sprayed and on close examination the black bar I can see appears to be part of the front bumper moulding (either that or its a bl**dy close fit and has been sprayed over). So, if mine is split, does that mean I might need a new front bumper moulding? Cheers...
  10. Ssssshhhh - It was meant to be a surprise for me!
  11. Having driven quite a few US cars I would expect it to have vertical slots - but they'll probably be sized for US coins. As I haven't seen one yet I dont know - just sort of liked the idea!
  12. Never actually seen one but believe they're fitted as standard stateside (if you want ashtray you have to buy it - $80). Cant find one on e-bay .... probably sold long ago as MY06 changed the interior.
  13. Anyone got a Coin Holder they dont want (replaces Ash Tray). Might swap for a pair of Front/Rear Z Badges, Chrome, New. Cheers
  14. Come on everyone - we can do better than 35 x 350Zs! Sign-up and join the fun - it'll be worth it just for the lap of the GP track! JohnK
  15. My tuppence-worth .... Had a Saab convertible prior to the Z. Loved it with the roof down, but with the roof up it didn't have the looks (true of the Z too I'm afraid)!! Also, the hood looked worn after 18months. If I wanted fresh air next time I'd probably look for a coupe cabriolet (e.g. SLK). A Z CC would be nice! JohnK
  16. Sad news - Thoughts for you and your family Phil ...
  17. I know I'm treading on dangerous ground here but I do like to think that most Z owners can get together and enjoy a day out .... Therefore this is a reminder that the 3rd 350Z OC South East Region meet is scheduled for 27.05.2007 at Duxford and is open to *all* Z owners. Please, no more discussion of the rights and wrongs of two forums, their members or past history. Just decide if you want to go - I look forward to seeing other Z owners there! JohnK
  18. It was definitely UK registered. I think it was on e-bay about 8 moths ago.... p.s. My last car was a soft top. I enjoyed the top down motoring but after 1-2 years the hood looked scruffy, so wouldn't have another. Wouldn't mind a 350Z if they did a CC version though! JohnK
  19. What UY roadster? Only seen pics of it. Obviously an import. Hood wasn't UY
  20. So that makes 78 (if you include the UY Roadster thats here)!
  21. Presume its an import (front number plate is a giveaway!). Its manual, no GT pack (judging by steering wheel and cloth seats) but does have rear spoiler. Interesting .......
  22. If you dont want your rims damaged, also check-out what the head on the bead stretching machine is made of. Many older or smaller tyre depots only use the ones with metal heads, whereas some specialist ones have heads made from another material which is less likely to cause scratches (I dont know what the material is called, but its simiar to nylon ot some form of silicon...)
  23. Glimpsed you this morning in a business premises' car park, west end of Henley!
