  2. In the last 24hours there have been conflicting posts of the time in reading. Some say 9am, some say 10am. Which is it?
  3. Has anyone considered inviting the guys from the other group. I can post details if no-one objects (the more the merrier?)
  4. Kuro Coupe in Caversham - parked in residential area. Blade Coupe in Caversham Chilli Coupe (04 Plate) in Alton Kuro Coupe (51 Plate!) in Brentford - Had GT4 wheels but it didn't hang around long enough to see if it was an elusive Kuro GT4. Lots at the Ace Cafe! Cheers!
  5. p.s. I've got TomTom with camera locations in case we want to drive "safely"!
  6. I'll be at Mothercare - bit of a late start though - roads will be getting full of shoppers..... See you there!
  7. Anyone out there put together a professional Webcam package? I'd like a chat about cameras, other hardware, image capture software, etc. Please PM me... Ta, JohnK
  8. I also thought the Nismo body kits were/are fitted in Sunderland?
  9. Just a minor point - Its not Road Tax, it's Vehicle Excise Duty and expecting the proceeds to be spent on Roads is like expecting Alcohol Excise Duty to be spent on Pubs...
  10. Buff? Buff? I'll have you know I'm Ultra Yellow and proud of it.... (What's an oon?) JohnK
  11. Reading's good for me - I'm 10 miles North. Time?
  12. And not a Gran Turismo 4! Also is an Import and doesn't appear to have even the GT pack. ...and then there were 77?? ...
  13. As its just "up the road" I guess I ought to! Is there a date yet? JohnK
  14. I'm up for either the 3rd or 10th. Add me to the list pls. p.s. the sooner a date is fixed the happier I'll be!
  15. I'm at 29,000 after fourteen months (its my day to day car). Mileage rate is slowing since I moved house, so I reckon my three years will be the 54k mark (and the BIG service!). Hope to keep it after that cos its been so much fun and I have regrets about letting one previous car go (30 years ago!). I will get something else but will keep it for when I need a reminder of the times I've had (inc: Abindon track day, Millbrook driver training and, last weekend, 30 laps of Nurburgring). Besides, my son wants it left in my Will! Oh! And its also a special ultra colour!
  16. Surely ("don't call me Shirley") the conveyor belt cant stop the plane from moving forward. The only contact point is the plane's wheels which aren't driven. The plane will move forward and take off. The conveyor belt cant stop it.... Can it?
  17. Well done Sarnie! Give that Fuku Fuku and myself were timing ourselves round the 'Ring last weekend I guess us UY owners are showing our best colours!!
  18. I wonder if its cheaper to change my name....
  19. Quick post to say got back yesterday from our "Jolly" to the Nurburgring. What a fantastic weekend although the track was wet, covered in leaves, and it rained all day Sunday (A less damp line started to emerge Sat after lunch but then it rained again)! Managed to do 30 laps all told, mostly in the rain and cloud. There were just the two Zs in the group, plus that annoyingly fast bloke in the Mondeo, and Alfa S Z(?) and a v quick BMW diesel. Down point was the spin of the BMW which is sadly now having to be recovered. Great shame, they were having a good time. High point was steadily reducing my time (Sat). That other Z fellow seemed to be 40secs per lap consistently quicker than me - but he's got the stubby aerial kit! Fantastic weekend so muchas thanks to Colin and CAT for coming up with the idea! Now back and looking at the bills! Thank goodness it wasn't dry - adding tyres to the bill might have wiped the smile off my face! I'm still full of it so you may see another post! JohnK
  20. My first time - two days and very wet but monumentally awesome! Perhaps I should post details in another thread when I'm awake!
  21. Chilli Coupe on the roundabout at the entrance to Nuburgring on Saturday 18th. Didn't come in to play though !
  22. Spent some time on this today. Dug out the very first photo I took of the car, and they've definitely always been silver on silver. Went ot the local dealer and cheked with parts department, and their is only one part number listed for all 350Z models and variants. He was sure if one was ordered it would arrive black on silver, but hadn't got one in stock. Mmmm....
  23. Just been out (with a torch) and both mine are definitely silver on silver. Or they've faded one hell of a lot! The thick plottens....
  24. My front Nissan-burger is about to be replaced under warranty. However, I've noticed that my badge is silver on silver, but that lots of Nissans I saw in the showroom have black letters on silver. Is this a change of emblem or are the Z ones specific? TIA.
