  1. after seeing that first picture of the silver zed its made me want to have axis penta's even more. i think they might be my favourite wheels
  2. i love the rx7,special when they are all kitted up. one of my favourite cars, but i'd never have the balls to own them, my bank balance isn't big enough to cope with the running costs, and the re builds.
  3. well i've changed all the grounding points of the kit so there should be no possible reason for the issue to reoccur. only issue is there is no point trying until i get a new fuse for the horn as i used the horn fuse to fix the lights
  4. jak how much do you want for the smoked orange ones
  5. ladies and gentlemen i'd like to announce a success i found the 3rd fuse box, it is well hidden to the side i didn't even notice it was there, its the long tall box to the side, there was so much grim on the top it was only after i wet my finger and cleaned the top that i saw all the fuse diagrams. its a b1tch to get the top off it, had to remove loads of popers to be able to get enough leveage to get it out. wnet through each headlight fuse, about 4 in total. by number 3 i was starting to panic as they all seemed fine. then on the last one it was there a burnt out 15amp fuse. so i nicked the one out of the horn relay as my horn is currently disabled and its from the box thats easy to get to. turned on the light and viola my head lights work. so after a total spend of £110 on bulbs £100 on 2 new HID ballasts and igniters it turns out to be a 10p fuse my own stupid fault for not checking the most simple thing first. i ignored my own rule. one thing i have noticed is that now when both lights are on the drivers side is not as bright which i do think is because of water damage. to the drivers side HID ballasts. so i will keep one of the hid ballasts as the drivers side does go out in wet weather. this means i will have a spare new HID ballast and igniter for anyone else who is suffering the same as stew and I. i am no longer a one eyed winker at night
  6. to be honest its only vaguly noticable over 4k rev and under heavy throttle. when added to an exhasut its more noticable. as for fitting its the same as mine so don't worry
  7. at the moment i think its rears only, although i might be wrong. will wait and see.
  8. it does seem that scotland is the resting place of the Zed, like the elephant grave yard. production has stopped and they are all slowly making there way tup norf.
  9. First car was a rover 214 had it for about 18 months kitted it out with the rover tomcat stuff. looked alright was the older box shaped ones same as the honda concerto. sadly only pics i have need scanning in. second car was my 306 GTi6 fantastic car one of the first cars to have a 6 speed box and was good for around 160BHP. again no pics at the moment. next came one of my first babies my MR2 mk3 roadster loved that car to bits, rebuilt the body kit and everything mself, learnt how to spray withthat car, broke my heart to break it up to pay for the engine repair, so sold it afterwards, but that took 18 months, due to the market crash, sat in the garage. had the Civic at the same time which was the new shape Type S GT wit the 2.2 diesel engine, great car, did wonders on my 500 miles a week commute, but lacked a little something. so i sold the mr2 and the civic together and got the zed
  10. just been on the phone to Rob at Likwid art, he has been a busy boy, there are no pics yet, but i will explain all. we should have pics by wednesday late evening. reason being is that rob hasn't just knocked up the one prototype, he has also knocked up a variety of colors, so there should be a whole color range available. he also mentioned that he'd knocked up something based around the original Zed as well, he's also made quite a few. He's just waiting to put a few together and have some decent weather outside to mount them up and take some pics. this should mean that as soon as the pics go up on wednesday that we can take orders, collect money and they should be ready to go out almost instantly. he apologized for the delays and has said that he has a lot going on at the moment and he is squeezing it in around other things. so a little more patience and it should all be worth it
  11. i think there is a button on the drivers side that when pressed disables the pasenger window, just check its not enabled.
  12. very nice mark, look forward to seeing them in the flesh
  13. Not sure if you if you have seen both this thread, in case it helps viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5795&hilit=headlight+fuses&start=15 See the outcome on the second page - maybe your issue too? It does seem the fuse box is the one behind the battery compartment does that mean there are 3 fuse boxes in the engine bay? i checked the first one you can see, and the one to the side of the battery (have to remove the plastics to see it), is there another behind the battery? as for issues and what it isn't changed the bulb - still not working - so not the bulb changed the hid and ballast - still not working - so not the HID and ballast next guess is a fuse, but i can't seem to find them all. nothig is marked as headlight only, i've seen headlight washer but no headlight.
  14. i had a look in the engine bay, checked both boxes in the battery area, but could seem to see anything for headlights, other than the washer relays. can't seem to find the one in the foot wells, i have checked both so where does the foot well fuse-box hide. i've also checked the service guide thing, but can't seem to find anything relating to fuse boxes, and the bits i did find on the headlights uses acronyms i don't recognize. some one help
  15. i'm quite tempted by the royal purple stuff. i'm due a P3 withing the next 2500 miles and haven't made my mind up yet exactly what i want
  16. i have an iphone and it works fine with it. i also have the bluetooth module going spare. i have upgraded my satnav and it has built in phone capabilities so i don't use the original nissan one if your interested.
  17. right update... got the new HID ballasts and igniters, had a go at fitting one on the side that had died first, but nothing what so ever has come on. which has puzzled me, i'm wondering if i have overlooked the most simple of things. i had a look in th engine bay fuse box but couldn't see any fuses for headlights; so my latest question is where are the headlight fuses? are they independent fuses i.e. one fuse per headlight? or are they one fuse for the system? i didn't try the other side of the car as it was starting to rain, i don't think its the new kit i bought so my guess is fuses, after that i'm really stumped.
