before i sign my mate up i was just wondering on insurance for him. from what someone said earlier you don't need track day insurance as your not on a track. do i need to put my mate on my insurance for him to be covered as well. or is the day covered under the organisers insurance?
that was plan B, but i think it might be the best option.
great idea about the paper clip, hadn't thought of that. was wondering what i could supplement with at the workshop. 3fiddyz your a genius.
i have been very lucky to get a set of bonnet dampers from ian. they need a refurb but thats great because its all part of the plan. by the way Ian is a true leg-end and has helped me out tremendiously.
what i'm after is a small clip that holds the ball section of the arm into the socket section if people know what i mean.
does anyone know where i can get a new clip/set of clips from.
right thats it,
i'm getting my tool box and i'm going to go round as many A/C units i can find and drain the refrigerant gas from them all. then see whos smiling tomorrow.
welcome to the club, there are quite a few sprinkles on here already. might be worth posting up your location as there might be people local who can pop round and help or give advice.
good luck with the install
you won't see 30bhp gains unless you remap or chip the ECU and even then your not guarenteed to get that close with out possibly changing the upper plenum. and maybe some HFC's.
stock airbox is good so don't worry about changing that.
i powder coat things in my workshop, nothing as complex as those, but we do it with a dip coat machine. we heat the metal up first, then dip it into a tub of plastic powder which has air being blown through it. lift out hang to dry plastic melts over forms a solid surface finish cools. jobs a goodun. must admit i do it with the brazing hearth and counting to 16. not really an exact science
i'm sure when its down by paul its most likely sprayed on first with charged particles and then baked. as for the rubber sections if they have been covered up they should be fine. as for the bleed nipples they should be ok as well.
thought someone of your size would more likely of been a hooker
i thought he was a w4nker .... i mean flanker
i know the pain of being a prop, i have a dodgy shoulder and dodgy knees. have dislocated all of them.
as for the girl she doesn't half pack a punch, fair play to her, with exersise like that she'll be back to abs-tastic in no time.
i could never fight a girl but i'd love to take her in the ring
if shes kicking that hard, i think shes amazing and i'd also call her miss.
yes miss, sorry miss, please don't cave my head in miss!
i like a girl whos not a fraid of a bit of rough and tumble, it means i'm less likely to break them
the 500 and the swift are meant to be what the mini should have been when it was redesigned. small sporty.
you are aware that garages will often take 2 cars in part exchange. if she wants something else you could possibly swap both in.
Right some people have been asking to see other colours fitted so here goes; rob and i have been playing around on photoshop for a while and this is what we did for you
as for thickness of the item, its exactly 3mm thick, hope this helps with peoples decision making
