  1. sorry H5, just been on black circles and apparently they rate the T1R as a UHP, so maybe they are. i always find this place a good judge of tyres http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/ i tend to look at how many reviews a tyre gets, and also look at whos using them, as some of the reviews by owners need to be ignored.
  2. Just came back to me today, while i was in france i saw a pug with Pirelli tyres on, but the pirelli was in white writing, just wondered if anyone new how to do this, or if its something you buy, or if the tyres come from the manufacturer like that?
  3. not that i'm aware of, the toyo is just a performance tyre, they are good, but they really show there weakness when you track them, i know several people who track cars and have tried a variety of tyres and the majority of feedback is that the toyos are good for about 5 laps before they start to go taccy and you have to stop and let them cool. similair issue with the falkens.
  4. not really, its how they are broken down regarding their performance, just had a little read, and the top groups are UHP ultra high performance HP high performance P performance UHP will have better stopping power, grip levels etc i think its also to do with compounds as well, UHP will be softer than P but won't last as long http://www.galttech.com/research/cars/b ... -tires.php
  5. No way is that pricing anywhere near correct: T1Rs more than the PS2s?! No chance, they'd be cheaper than all of them. Maybe R1Rs or 888s, but not T1Rs. Someone from Camskill have made an almighty balls-up there. Taken off Black circles where poss... depends where you buy em, but the general gist still stands...tyres can be put into categories in terms of how much u willing to spend, how much grip or durability is important to you.. My last post didn't work, as the network dropped out, but the jist of what i was saying was that the falkens and toyos are just mid range tyres. and the rest were UHP (ultra high performance) tyres. as for the ultracs, was that price for the standard ultracs or the ssantas as there is a big difference in performance on the ssantas. will have to go and check them out. What's this classification of 'UHP'?? Or is it just a brand thing.....? not 100% sure, but seen it on several tyre place websites tyres are designed for or fit into several brackets Ultra High Performance (UHP) High performance or performance ( i think) Mid range Budget. i may have even missed out a section or possibly added one in. but definitely UHP and budget exist
  6. my mate Ekona who's on here gets one posted to him for event days from a company, but don't know who? try searching online, think it only costs him about £10
  7. I think thats what most of us were saying. do you know the one bag, 2 bag, coyote scale? a 1 bagger = you'd have to put a bag over her head in order to even contemplate going to bed with her. a 2 bagger = same as above, but you'd also have to put a bag over your own head incase her's fell off. and a coyote = a big big mistake, worse than the previous 2 but you actually went through with out the bags, and you would rather chew your own arm off in the morning than risk waking her when you slip out for the quick get away.
  8. i'd love to do it, i have dual nationality for australia, but now that I'm married i doubt i could get my wife to move out there. she did all the traveling stuff when she left Uni, but i spent the time sorting out my career, and playing with cars. i kinda regret sometimes not doing much traveling, wasn't until my honeymoon last year that i had stepped on a plan or even had a holiday in 8 years. went to france for the first time 2 weeks ago since my last visit 15 years ago at school. thats the thing with the curent setup over here, the longer it lasts the more people will leave, and usually the ones with the qualifications, brains and skills.
  9. You seen those Hippo bags they do? For getting rid of rubbish, I'd suggest one of them they may not even be thick enough, we could be talking kevlar double layer with black out material inside and a drawstring on the neck to make sure it doesn't actually fall off.
  10. Paul who was the founder of the now temporarily defunct dream customs did a carbon cloth cover on all those parts at very reasonable price. Think the rear strut was around £40. As for some of the other items do a search. I know I have put picks up of my titanium gear knob. It's a nismo, but it's about £100. As for the girls; on the 1 bag, 2 bag, coyote scale. I would say the blonde is a 1 bagger and the brunette a 2 bagger. Does that help?
  11. hey dan i'm off at the moment and bored, i'm up for a road trip
  12. wow nixy looks damn fine for 30,000 years old, hey if i look that good when i'm her age i'll be well chuffed
  13. even if its a one piece, you could still take the moulding out, mask it up and then spray it.
  14. to be honest mate i doubt you'll get much out of them, they are tighter than a gnats arse. did you buy from a nissan dealer, if so you might be in luck, have to see what happens
  15. i had this with an old car, no problems for ages, then i go and visit some mates in york, and 3 valve caps go missing, i go and see some friends in cov and some scroat snaps off one of my lens protectors, obviously wanted for his own pug, but didn't realise you had to open the bonnet to get them off, really pi**ed me off.
  16. i lived 5 minutes from the cov sorting office, on the other side of the bridge, just up past the canal basin. is the club ko poda still there? we used to call it poke harder
  17. thats pretty smart, not seen them round my way yet, how would i spot one of these special camera cans?
  18. do a search on vredestein ssantas and you should get a bit of info on them. several people have commented on them, meant to be very good tyres. feedback i have heard off the forum are form the fast ford crowd, especially the RS group who apparently rave about them, (met a bloke having them fitted at a big wheel place) other forums who rave about how good they are is the corvette group, apparently they are the tyre of choice for them, they reccommend them on there like some people on here do about the falkens.
  19. good luck with the search, hope its where you think it is. as said above, the extendable magnets are best.
  20. should have shot it. not a fan of rodents, spent a lot of time sorting out rabbits and rats on farms, to me thats just a big rat
  21. don't panic mr. Mannering i had this with an order from Z1 auto in the states, goes by USPS arrives here, message on Net says tired to deliver, no calling card, panic, etc etc, yep been there. end result is that parcel force send you a proper letter through the post to say your item has outstanding charges, then you can go and collect. you'll just have to wait for the letter.
  22. to stop very big things getting to your rad, like animals and bunnies. also stops stones etc. hence i'm going for the woven and nylon coated. if you want some as well, let me know the size and i'll contact Zun for you.
  23. looks like a scorpion exhaust, or a copy of it, don't know the seller so can't vouch for quality, if i were you i would do 1 of 2 things. 1. replace current system with new shiny one 2. get it repaired, a good place should be able to cut out the old pipe and weld in a new bit. if you go the shiny new route, then speak to CS as he does several cost effective replacements which are known to be good quality either the scorpion, K1 or K2, me personally if you just want a replacement and easy fit unit then the K2 is possibly best. if you want nuts out screamer of an exhaust the K1 scorpion is good, but have heard several fitment issues, not impossible to fit, but occasionally need some manhandling
