  7. most back roads round suffolk are great fun, i've driven some cracking roads in wales, the costal road from anglesey to abbaristwith(cant spell) especially when i took the 60 mile detour though the mountains. i regularly like to get lost in wales and see where i end up, found some amazing roads.

    mpg??

think what you like, its what i got, but had run the tank to the point the DTE was flashing -- -- as for the trip, i was knackered, and the traffic was heavy, with lots of road works with average speed cameras, think i was generally travelling between 55 mph - 70mph for most of the trip. hence the high MPG i can drive it like i stole it if i want to and i can get good MPG if i want to.
  9. in an answer, don't know. mine is the invidia G200 true dual. its about £800-£1000 depending on shipping and the supplier and the echange rate. and one of its flexi joints had rotted out. just delivered a second hand DC sports exhaust true dual, and it also showed corrosion on the flexi, nismo exhaust is renowned for the flexis splitting. so my guess is most companies seem to use mild steel flexi's, and it seems to be the weak spot. its also cheal and easy to fix.
  10. i have a 2nd hand exhaust fitted, and the weak areas on it were the flexi joints, more precisily the welds, as they are often mig welded, not tig welded, or the flexi joint is mild steel not stainless. i had to replace 1 flexi joint wneh i fitted it, but the rest of the exhaust was fine.
  11. looks good, can't wait to get mine sorted, still waiting for it to be finished before i can fit it.
  12. its alright i have a clay kit, shampoo etc. so i think thats enough for now
  13. never heard anyone run 20mm and suffer wheel bearing wear.
  14. forces aren't designed to go that direction through the LSD
  15. am i right in thinking that lime and prime is like a polish, and a sealant in one. also i'm sure i remember reading somwhere to only use the lite on japanese paint work as the paint is soft. and that the lite was better for jap paint, is that right? and yes i would love to add the red mist and lime prime lite to the order do you want me to pm you to put the order to gether or go through your shop?
  16. meguairs polish, part of their 3 stage cleaning process.
  17. about to get some soon, but stew uses it and his respince went something like this so i think its quite good. have a look on the envy show and shine competition chat section as its discussed there.
  18. recommended to me was the dod supernatural, i have a blade silver car
  19. maybe a warm up and cool down might do the trick with the disks,
  20. i would say impressed, but i don't think thats the right word, how you managed to get through discs' pads tyres etc in such short time. do you remember the film days of thunder and tom cruise shows how quickly he can track the car, but the tyres don't see the end of the race, so the old man gets him to drive to his style, he works out to be quicker and the tyres last the race. i'm wondering if it has nothing to do with discs and everything to do with driving style. the DBAs aren't cheap disc's and they are designed around track use. so to crack them in such short time is er unique. do they not require a cooling down procedure i thought with any track day, you have a cold lap before coming in to cool the brakes etc. i'm not saying your style is bad, as i've never seen it, and you may well be quick, but may be you need to adjust it to accommodate the life-cycle of the parts. i wouldn't be surprised if you haven't boiled your brake fluid and need that changing as well
  21. please don't use t-cut on nissan paint, as the paint is very thin, and t-cut is far to abrasive. use megs polish or something softer
  22. mine was meant to get its P3 service today, but a delay on parts means not until thursday, or next week most likely. its not a nissan service, but at least its a stamp in the book
