  1. my guess is it holds the ends of the flexi joints on as the internal is like a spring inside to allow for the flex, i think it also acts as a barrier to the external elements. someone else might have a more definitive answer.
  2. never watched any of it, could think of better things to do with my time
  3. if it helps there is another one going via email, i've had it twice, and must admit i nearly fell for it. and i'm not normally con'd easily. had an email from the inland revenue saying i was due a tax rebate, all looke dofficial and even the email address was authentic looking. it asked you to fill in a payment form with details etc to get the rebate. i googled it and it was a scam, the inland revenue like banks etc would never ask for your details online. something didn't look right but i nearly didn't check.
  4. the stuff that dreams are made of lol look how even the wing tips follow the lines of the lights one day thats the one i'd have as well, but i don't have that kind of cash

  7. i tried multiple methods even went to the automotive oberdsman. try zmanalex, or R3LEE you might find it cheaper to get a second hand bonnet in the right colour and swap over.

  9. i took ages to get my driving posistion rightas it hurt my hip, which is unusual. as for knees my left one has been FUBARed for years.
  10. pay mine by direct debit, so i can't miss a payment.
  11. rust is a ferrous metal term, basically if it has iron in it, then it has the potential to rust. when speaking about metals it better to use the term oxidisation, as this is what happens when the bare metal reacts with oxygen in the air. in the case of a steel its ironoxide, with aluminium its aluminiumoxide. ally doesn't oxidise easily and it would be harder to get perferation in it. as for good will gesture from nissan, good luck, i've tried with something else, and they were tighter than a gnats ar$e. its difficult to get anyhting out of them, once out of warrenty they couldn't give a to$$. i hate nissan for that fact and delibertly don't use their garages for anything, call it a mini protest.
  12. yeah i made that mistake with my pioneer btf500. had to use another method in the end.
  13. give it a couple of weeks and i'll see if there is an update, i don't know what robs time scales are, it depends on how much work he has on, and he's always working. he'll email me with updates, and then i'll let you lot know
  14. co pilot was good software, but what let it down was running it on my PDA, much better than tomtom, garmin is pretty good, and is the market leader in the states. tomtom seem to have picked up a niche over here but its not the best. go to somewhere that sells a variety and try them out.
