  1. what about getting a proper job and no he wouldn't be a teacher he'd be an instuctor i studied for 6 years to have the privilege of being called a teacher and teachers don't get better insurance, as a profession; motor insurance is higher, with all the kids, school car parks are high risk. if you deal in money you might as well put banker
  2. fiddy what other filters have a velocity stack, because when i google it i don't get air filters i get links to other car stuff?
  3. forgot to add i'm off work at the moment as well, i've got a virus, but apparently its not swine flu, so husky don't worry, should be just a 3 or 4 dayer if you have caught it.
  4. i filled up in the morning for that exact reason
  5. don't know depends on internal diameters etc and how they fix. the k&n is a jubilee clip job, pipe slips into to it, and then tighten, the apexi has a bolt on plate which is usually the intake pipe itself. need to look into it more. and as for others, i was hoping for suggestions
  6. can't find martin, and i'm way off course already, need to get back into practice of checking every hour

    Tyre Help

i've not heard good things about avons on Zeds, i'm sure i remember hearing they handle like the bridgestones in wet weather.
  11. Are you reading the posts? Both me and Stew said that mileage wasn't a deciding factor... yes i can read thankyou i always look after my cars and i have them well maintained and serviced; i know when i come to sell my car if someone is looking for a silver car mine and another, both in good nick but mine has lower miles i'm fairly certain the lower mile car would go first. hence i choose a low miler, and always maintain my cars etc.
  12. it improves the MPG i think you'll get at least an extra 3 meows per gallon
  13. must be me then, i settled on a silver instead of a black as the silver had lower milage and was in better condition. your right to a point but milage is still a deciding factor. even after all your otyher choices you still look at milage, it may not be at the front, but its still there.
  14. people always look for a car with the lowest milage they can afford, the lower the mileage the higher the premium you can demand.
  15. bloody hell, these things are going like hot ckaes, i keep missing out on stuff, i blame my wife, i've been helping her alter a picture and i missed out on these
  16. hey whos been messing with the posts, i wear the trousers in my house my wife just tells me which pair to wear
  17. down to size i actually think i'd be bungle i vote husky as zippee just cos he doesn't shut up, but sadly that means geraghty is george sorry i'm sorry i can't control my wife, she is a force unto her self
  18. first case i've heard of them failing. might go the sports cat route at some point. just don't want any raspy-ness.
  19. i don't follow celebrity gossip, couldn't give a monkey's all these celebrities who are famous for being famous should be loaded on a bus and pushed off a cliff. they're a waste of space. what ever happened to proper news they set a bad image and are poor role models for a gullable population and the younger generation.
  20. i by low mileage for the resale, makes it easier to shift when i sell up. only my first car had over 100k when i bought it, and my second had 60k when i got it and sold it at 84k, my last 3 cars have all had less than 15k on the clock, and i would usually sell a car at around 40k milage wise now, not on age of ownership.
  21. i wouldn't worry i learnt a long time ago that brummies are wierdos i lived with one for 2 years. she once got into a car with a strnager after a night out, we asked what she was doing and it not being a bright idea; and her responce in a thick black country accent " is alright, he's got pizza" i mean wtf
  22. i guess if he'd turned up at 11.30 instead of 3.30 like he was suposed to he wouldn't have had these problems
  23. was going to do the same at the meet, but didn't think there was enough space, so i'll do mine another time
