  1. i haven't got it, nor am i showing any symptoms, i think i had a mild case months ago, so i think i'm imune now. and if i can't catch it, then you won't get it.
  2. government regulations are now that if you catch it then yo treat it as ordinary flu, they are no longer shutting schools or sending people home who have ill relatives. i think the basis is that its going to spread, so why bother stopping it but i'll let lucy know you've declared her as patient zero
  3. i'm an honest man, never learnt when to keep my mouth shut, am as tactful and delicate as a challenger tank in a china shop i say it how i see it, and at least people know; what they see is what they get with me
  4. i've heard of something i think it was called natee's paste or something that was meant to be very good at putting colour back in to paint work, i can't remember what it was now but it was the same colour as the car, i know they did a blue one and i think they did a red as well. happy google searching
  5. of course i'm concerned for my wife, but i've been looking forward to this meet for ages. i will take good care of her, i always do. i'll pass on your best wishes Husky, don't worry she's not punishing me she is proper ill, and i'm not showing any symptoms my imune system is pretty good (lucy's isn't she has khrons and her immune is very weak) admittedly when we first got together some one asked me to prioitise my life in order of what i deemed most important and the list went: 1. Car 2. Lucy 3. Family 4. Cats although now i have matured its changed to : 1. car & lucy 2. cats 3 family some times when she's being grumpy the car comes first by the way i do love my wife very much but some times i love my car more
  6. Well lucys not been feeling to well and has been really ill the last 2 days, so she went to the doctors this morning to see what it was. i got a phone call at about 11am and had to go home to see her and sort some stuff out because..... she has swine flu. apparently they made her leave the surgery through the back door, and she wasn't allowed to pick up her prescriptions etc and has been signed off for a week, not allowed back till wednesday next week. i've had to inform my Head so she is aware, and then had to go to lucy's school and inform them then i had to go pick up prescriptions and a few other things and then rush back for my next lesson. i'm alright but i'm worried, i feel bad as i'm not to worried about lucy, but more that i might catch it and miss out on the CS meet this weekend coming she's pretty bad at the moment, but should hopefully be ok, she's not finding it easy to breath, but i've set her up with lots of fluid and got some DVDs for her and some magazines. fingers crossed she won't turn into a pig
  7. don't like the cravendale ones, i just find them odd
  8. That's goi g to be the plan. Going to get the new tyres fitted first.
  9. i use firefox on the works laptop, has slow patches, but at home i prefer safari, tried loads, i've used chrome, opera, IE, Firefox, Safari, and safari so far has been the best, its visuals and layout are better, and its the fastest by far.
  10. or use the opportunity to upgrade maybe get something like the ings from z-store
  11. CAM = Computer Aided Manufacturing - at least that is how I knew it 20 odd years ago - sorry, I'm being pedantic now! your correct, you go to the top of the class
  12. can't see why not, the TRD lip on my toyota went on that way, as does the Greddy one on here
  13. i planned something similiar, but as i'm a law abiding citizen mine will be on my dash for now (when its fitted) because it fell off
  14. I shall post when I've made a prototype CNC - computer numerical control.... just means that I make an electronic design that a computer controlled milling machine then makes. These days it's generally called CAD/CAM (Computer aided design/Computer aided machining). Out of interest do you even have heated seats? i know i teach it

  16. i'm impressed, thats good going, bet most blokes couldn't do that. good to see parenting at its best, and starting their education early. i hope i'm as good a dad when i have kids sir i salute you
  17. loving the candy apple red, and like you say with black wheels, would look sweet
  18. get what your saying about the mileage, i know exactly what you mean, i changed to a sensible car a couple of years ago cos the milage was killing my convertible. good luck with the decision making, its never easy.
  19. tough choices, congrats on the new arrival, me and my lucy want to head in that direction at some point, but we plan to use my wifes car as the family wagon, i use mine for work, and lucy when and if we had kids would be at home so would need the family car would have hers, and then come the weekend we both use hers as the family wagon. (i think that came out a bit garbled ) why have 2 family cars if your in yours for work, use the wifes for the weekend family activities. our plans may change in the future but thats what i have mapped out for the future,
  20. actually i think its 5.5 sec, but i could remember so played on the safe side and added a sec but yeah definetly no slouch
  21. don't know if CS does services, but he might be able to reccomend someone. although i'm guessing the low milage means its still in nissan warrenty. have a look at the dealers praise and woes section, there should be some b'ham based dealers who do a good job
