  1. will be interesting to see if you guys end up getting any ideas and then make something. welcome to the club
  2. What do you do to all these body kits Rich? i buy damaged kits on the cheap, i sometimes repair them and then sell them on, or use them myself. i don't do the breaking by the way, its already broken when i get it. as for stickers, last time i added a sunstrip to my mr2, my parents said it looked tarty, i hate that word, "tarty", really pi$$ed me off, as i quite liked it.
  3. i have some nismo skirts that i'm putting on ebay soon, they need some work as they were damaged, but a good bodyshop should be able to get them up and running. not sure what to ask for them, and they do need work, but they can be repaired. hence i'll put them on ebay with no reserve and a starting price of £5 will pm you if you like when they go live.
  4. not sure on the wheels, but the side and front are aftermarket, have a browse on www.z-store.co.uk, as most kits can be found on there. as for the wheels i think rare rims do something similar, have a search through their previous posts, as i believe sobrien has bought something similar from them.
  5. i'm sure you could just change and replace the syncro's and to be honest if your getting the gear box off, then i'd look at replacing the clutch as its cheaper while its already off. and while your doing that you might as well stick in a lightened flywheel for good measure. Zmanalex does a good excedy clutch and fidanza flywheel clutch combo. or tyr DMS for a full carbon clutch setup with carbon flywheel. bit more pricey, but a cracking piece of kit.
  6. hadn't asked if he'd do a club discount, but might re mail him to see if he says anything, is it worth mentioning you marky?
  7. Just got a quote. From them for doing my rays. £250 for just satin black, or another £80 for the red lip. It's 1 day for the satin black, but 2 - 3 for the red lip. I"m going to wait till half term and see if I can do it then.
  8. i was going to use black ripspeed on mine, but it was 10 cm too short, had to take it back. got some special stuff in the end
  9. i got stuck on the giant trojan rabbit
  10. BJV do them for £35 a corner, but they are a bot of a distance for me, and they don't do a day turn around, and there open times are abit funny. this place is more local, possibly more money, but its a time saving issue for me.
  11. man thats a bummer, maybe you should pimp out your apprentice to recoup some of the cash
  12. he was adamant he had to park next to the nice sports car, i think its a case of people like to lok , so they park next to it, regardless of how difficult it might be to get into the space

  19. no removal required, sticks on top of the original. amersham is that near oxford, if so i might know somewhere that would do it for you, they build and race prep lotus race cars for the elise trophy and he's a mate of mine
  20. its fairly easy, peel off backing of sticky tape. align with dash push on job done, sit back, drink beer, admire handy work
  21. cheers for that marky, much closer than the other place, i'll try them for a quote.
  22. that must be the M50 private road near your house might be something worth keeping quiet about
  23. we are a concentrated group of enthusiasts so the majoirty are wise enough to shop around. your everyday customer isn't always as clued up and come renewal time just except it and pay the renewal. i'm sure they make a nice tidy profit on repeat customers.
