  1. your all a bunch of dirty minded kids suppose its why i fit in here so well
  2. sorry its off topic, but steve are you in the elsie trophy, i have a mate who race preps some of the cars in that.
  3. was about to say the same thing. is it wrong that i quite like that, i once did an air conditioning install for mitsubishi HQ in the UK and it was to show off all their units, like a giant display room. and one of the install parts were clear chamber pipes so you could see the gas flow through the pipes at one section. i think it was also to be used a s a training room. apparently they were about £2000 a pop, and we had something like 20 to put in.
  4. Seems really quiet with them all gone, wonder if nixy has started working her way down the slap list she's been compiling since the wales meet
  5. love this film, got it on DVD it was that good
  6. for me the forum is my friends network, having only moved to this area recently i don't really know anyone. i get on well with people from work, but i'm still getting to know people. i tend to find i have more in common with the people on the forum than i do with normal people. its been good because i've met people like bullet magnet, who lives near by. my wife calls me a car geek, this is possibly why i don't know that many people. i took a friend from work with me on the air field day, and although e had fun, i could tell at times he was a little bored, and he wasn't that bothered about driving. i'm friends with his girlfriend as well, and i know she would have had fun as she likes cars as well, but i think my wife would have frowned at that one i've made more friends through car forums than anywhere else. its such a shame most of you don't live closer, would love to go down the pub with you lot for a laugh and talk cars and random stuff.
  7. lol how many sets do you reckon you can fit in your suitcase for the trip home
  8. i like your rusty Zed, looks good, whats your first mod plan then?
  9. worst one i had was not a real coin but a plastuic yellow coin used at a multi storey carpark. came to leave went to grab the coin off the wife and she let go to early, and like a heat seeking missle it went down the side of the seat and straight into the rail. we were at the barrier and had 3 cars behind us. couldn't go forward and couldn't go back. had to get the man out of his little hut with a special tool to fish it out. very embarrasing
  10. i would say that the EBC yellow stuff is a good but cost effective pad, i think both Zmanalex and CS can supply you with them, just PM them for a price
  11. how much do you reckon you saved by getting them out there while on holiday. cheapest i can get them in the uk for springs and spacers is about £400
  12. exactly the same, as long as i get them on before winter really hits i'll be happy. got a bout 2mm till the wear indicator on the rear. and the tyres are at least 3 years old now. and general rule of thumb is to change tyres after 3 years to stay on the safe side.
  13. value of the car is probably no more than £2000-£40000 i'd get the door repaired or re-sprayed. wrap is to much cash for a cheap car.
  14. bought the same tyres last week, mine are now sat im my garage waiting for me to refurb my wheels first.
  15. i'm due to do this to mine but can't work out if i should lower or not. as today i went over a speed bump and my tail pipes scraped on the bump. if i'd been 30 mm lower itt would have been worse. when i went back that way i had to go really really slowly and was fine
  16. don't know what car it is, but are you at rockingham speedway?
  17. got a picture, off hand can't remember what your looking at and if you've missed anyThing. my advice is just hit it. but if you've done that already maybe something else need s undoing?
  18. not seen that before, its pretty funny. love his other gymkhana stuff
  19. you might be surprised at how easy that gets going. BM had a prelude before the Zed, and i looked at one a while back, they are good cars, and the engines ar ebullet proof as long as they have been serviced on the correct intervals etc. even if you just got it running and sold it you'd make a few bob or 2.
  20. Just had a quick search for you, and these are some of the most popular wheels offered by rare rims on this site, most of these you won't find on there website. the GTR ones give you a good idea of combined tyre and wheel price for a set. and they are also on special for the club so a discounted price. the rest are a normal price. viewtopic.php?f=61&t=26184&hilit=+wheels viewtopic.php?f=38&t=24584 viewtopic.php?f=38&t=26568 These happen to be my favourites viewtopic.php?f=38&t=26551&hilit=+wheels no one else has these in the UK on a Zed yet, and i nearly got them, just couldn't afford to do it this year
  21. the TVR is loverly but it will burn money quicker than you can make it. my dads colleague had one and it spent more time in the garage having work done or repairs or fixes than it did on the road.
  22. its like the coins a re fitted with a homing device, the worst ones are the seat rails to try and get it out of.
  23. royal purple 5w 30 for me, ordered 5 litres from envy last week for £46
