  1. i doubt renault would shed any extra light on it, but they might be worth a try, as they see mor eof them than an independant wand would be arware of any service notices gone out to all dealerships, or possibly any common faults. sorry i can't be more help
  2. thats what i said, my last comment was that the asymetrics got a good write up
  3. i'll try that, i also thought i might put some chilled out music on for them, so that they sleep well at night. any reccomendations for artists to play?
  4. ok that makes sense i feel like the blonde who always laughes about 10 seconds after everyone else laughs at a joke
  5. thats my favourite parking space at sainsburys as well
  6. i'll go lay them on there sides tomorrow, or at least rotate them every 3 days
  7. sounds good price, make sit more reachable for me, as your also in the south. so no mental drives up north
  8. Indeed - this does put me off the wide kits. I am worried about deep/low skirts and front bumpers due to clearance - speed bumps and railway crossings terrify me as it is LOL alot of them don't actual sit that much lower, but change the shape from a rounded under the car to a more square finish. gives the illusion of deeper will not being ridiculous. i can't make my mind up if i should lower mine when i refurb the wheels, i'm defo getting spacers, but not sure if i should lower as well. with the new nismo kit on i'm not sure what the clearance would be like, i don't want restricted access. as at the moment i cans till go anywhere.
  9. if thats your choice, i would probably say that the eagle F1's are better. i found the tyre wall on them a bit soft, and the compound shredded easier, i.e. picking up puntures etc. but the grip on them is way better than the toyos. theose were the old gsd2's, have heard the updated gsd3 aren't as good. but their asymetrics get a good write up http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Goody ... metric.htm not as sexy a tyre but meant to perform very well
  10. definitely have a look around, there is a lot of options, but most people seem to stick to the familiar. i think with that spoiler if it just had some deep skirts, it would help make the car look fatter on the side profile. which is what you need. if you start going down the route of VS wide body your into jumbo wheel and spacer setups, masses of bodyshop work and a general fear of all things hump shaped.
  11. DAMD http://z-store.co.uk/index.cfm?fuseacti ... entCat=203 Bomex http://z-store.co.uk/index.cfm?fuseacti ... ory_ID=196 these are the Z-store links, but have a proper browse through there site, as it shows pretty much every kit available.
  12. fair play, wasn't picking holes i'm in the same situation, small bits at a time. personally i wouldn't go wide arch, but there are some really good aggressive kits out there that would balance the spoiler. i think nismo would be too soft for it. i think definitely the DAMD kit would work well, or the bomex, niether of which i've seen in the UK,
  13. go vredestein you know you want to http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Vrede ... ssanta.htm
  14. i think the novelty of having the worlds fastest charade would wear off on me quiet quickly. yes you'd be able to out drag any car you fancy, but i wonder how it would handle on a track, i don't think it would be able to put down all that power, as there isn't enough weight. i get my kicks from going fast on twisties, as going fast in a straight line is easy. sorry just my opinion, i'd rather spend all that engine money on a better car
  15. your going to need an aggressive kit to balance the spoiler out, other wise it might make the car look a bit off balance.
  16. that is insanely fast, and extreme power, but for me i never really understand doing it, at the end of the day its still a charade, regardless of its engine pedigree.
  17. just had 4 vredestein ultrac sessantas delivered from camskills for about £480, as they have a special offer on at the moment for them. thats on 18's. if you go to rarerims, they sell good wheels, but your looking at a rough price of about £1400 for a wheel and tyre package, and thats with falkens, and they are a relativley low cost tyre, but pretty good quality for everyday driving. i thought about the same thing, but have decided to go for new tyres and a wheel refurb. you could possibly get a set of rays with tyres off here for around £400 which would last you for 6-12 months depending on mileage, and then upgrade the tyres. don't know if you'll get much on ebay, but you could sell the old alloys.
  18. ok so thats that plan out the window then thinks its going to have to be either flush, or nismo v1/v2. don't like anything else i've seen thats sensible money.
  19. they are in the garage, with the light off, so should be fine
  20. wow, what a selection, i love the esprit and the ings one, i like the rsw from the rear, but feel it sits just that bit too high. and the ings is miles out of my price range, and i'd also have it on the lower mounts. i think the esprit wing would be for me, its quite porsche esq,
  21. i'd say all sunset, as you don't have anything else black on the car (other than tyres) to carry it off, i think that look needs bonnet or roof done, or even just the wing mirrors to pull the image of the car together.
  22. have stood them on there ends at the moment as if they were on a car, with nothing leaning against them, and they're not leaning on anything either. they are gorgeous by the way, i know its only a tyre, but the vredestein ultrac sessanta is a sexy tyre
