entry finishes on the 24th of jan apparently. i don't think i have the time to put in the practice to get into the top of the table to qualify for the academy. whats more annoying is a can drive better in real life than i can on a computer game

i read this somewhere already, think it was on a press release about the new roadster that someone posted up earlier. nice option, but bloody expensive. thats not a premium, its a brand whore tax

like i said before it won't have helped sales of their mag on this forum. and i won't be reccomending it to others. i'm sticking with my yearly subscription to topgear

the race today will be interesting, it will have the 9 people who qualified form yesterday up against i believe 2 celebrities from topgear/fifth gear. and 3 racing drivers (think one is a touring car driver). (none of whom had to qualify yesterday ) the track layout is made up of concrete blocks and scrap cars.

it was 5 minutes on track with 1 timed lap at the end. just one lap to prove it, any mistakes, your out. was great fun though and really enjoyed it, and the instructor with me gave me useful tips to increase my lap speed. i'm happy with my effort, but it has driven me to want to do more track stuff. just got to save up the money for it.

looks interesting. i also had a look at the link to the Nissan GT academy for 2010, am abit annoyed that you can only enter if you have a play station or go to the auto show which was this weekend,

dammit i bought it, and just lost 2 hours of my life good fun though

last time i was mot'd the bloke said the 350z brakes were off the scale, far better than most everyday cars. the test was more to make sure all 4 corners were working the same without any seizes

dat is a gud question rich how close was you to winnings? don't know, was told by the instructor i had a very respectable time and good control of the vehicle. but there was obviously people a lot quicker. watched plenty who weren't. i didn't spin out once, but did get some drifts in. were lots of others 360ing in the wet. possibly due to them coming from FWD hot hatches and no experience of RWD. there were also proper race drivers there. in my briefing there were 2 GT drivers. so i guess i was respectable for an inexperienced race driver i think mark did well, but don't know if he got through. he had to go to a wedding straight away, so i'm guessing he's on the beers at the moment.

is it a life time ban?

i think that's the thing husky, is that i spent a long time working in that kind of environment, now i work in a more civilised kind of office based scene, people don't seem to have the same sense of humour. i use a lot of dead pan humour or dry sarcasm, and alot of people think that I've been offended, or tell me "we're just joking" i know that and my response were as well, but they don't seem to get it i kind of miss working on the shop floor, or on building sites, the humour is better, if not a little crude and disgusting

its there for emergencies, i got mocked for it when doing an expedition last year, brought it out in the evening sat around the tents to keep me warm, i got called "grandad" and "where's your wheelchair" but i was the one laughing when they all got midge bites up their legs

thanks pimm, shes good it used to be an old retort, if someone was taking the mick out of your mum or disabled people, the old reply used to be "my mums dead" or "my brother has down syndrome" usually said with a completely dead pan face. it used to be funny as you watch the person either miss a couple of heart beats or look completely ashamed with what they just did. obviously doesn't really have its place on the forum, my apologies, it was bad taste

its the garages leverage on the money, nothing will leave that garage till either the money is settled, or it goes to court.

i've fitted exhausts before, but i got a garage to do the one on the zed, really needs a ramp access to make it an easy job.

LSD = limited slip differential. instead of the car putting the power through it, the rollers do, and its not designed to have power put through it that way. puts stress on the LSD and can cause it to go kaput.
