  1. did you do any mods to the lambo?
  2. i have the "i can haz cheeze buger" book, which has loads of these.
  3. if the car is running well it should use any oil up, i've gone 9000 miles without ever having to top mine up. but you do need to check it every week. or 2 weeks at the most. if that light comes on it could be expensive.
  4. depends on what the adhesive is. when you say carbon cloth i take it your not talking about the 3m dry carbon look niloc vinyl. if it is then it comes off with white spirit, lighter fluid, or meths. but if your going to spray it, why not just sand it back.
  5. if i win the lottery, your at the top of my list for captaining my boat
  6. only got caught speeding once, and it was in north wales, been stopped a couple of times before, and both times i've been nice and polite, and so has the officer and all has been fine. seems the north wales constabulary have a stick up their arse got several mates on the thin blue line, and they are all top blokes. and good coppers
  7. i don't even remember posting that one
  8. i still have loads of little jobs to do, which i haven't even got the parts for yet. but its what i enjoy, its like air fix kits for adults
  9. i'll let it slide just this once, i get the idea of the LPG conversion, and its not a bad idea, but the out lay and cost has got to be offset, if it takes you 3 years to pay it off before your into money saving, but you only keep the car for that time and then maybe 6-12 months after that, the only real person who benefits is the next owner. if your looking at keeping the car for 5-10 years, then it might be worth a look, but i'd want to know my engine is safe with it hooked up. as said before there has been one with engine failure, which doesn't fill me with confidence
  10. fiddy had his big camera with him and took more pics than i did, and probably a lot better quality,
  11. i take it i got your old one, and you've upgraded to the new one? whats the biggest difference between the 2 as you have used both?
  12. i do want a new one, and when i get one i'll put the old one on the passenger side. as for guides to follow i used the one from andyzed viewtopic.php?f=53&t=25166&hilit=handrake+mod
  13. Gaitors were from on the forum, i think its redline gaitors or something like that, he posts up once a month letting people know his next discount code
  14. scraper is in there for when it gets icy, but its got a rubber side to it which is the side i use, not the hard plastic one the handbrake is a richbrook one, and i got it off ebay ages ago
  15. no it was silverstone and yes it was matt black
  16. i can't see the point, might as well stick a hose up your arse and fart into the engine
  17. with the weather not being so great, i've tried to use the weekends over the last 2 weeks to do some mods to the car, most of the parts have been sat in the garage or the house for months, as i've not got round to doing them. apologies in advance for the bad lighting, but on both days, by the time i had finished the light had faded and taking pics wasn't easy. also apologies for the mess my car is in at the moment, the camera seems to have shown up all the dirt and dust, its in desperate need of a good clean inside as its filthy. First up was an easy one: Richbrook Anti theft valve caps. i got these ready to go with my wheel nuts, ready for my wheel refurb, but i thought what the hell and put them on now. these are the best i've seen as they don't have an allen key grub screw in them, and if you try to remove them without the tool the sleeve just spins on its own i got this engine cooling panel ages ago second hand, and its been sat for ages waiting to go on. its a little worn in places, i gave it a good going over with some autosol, but i think it might get the vinyl treatment later in the year to hide the tired marks on it. Next up was my CG Lock, which i got from paul, been wanting one for ages, i got it and then took 2 months to get round to fitting it must admit, i've been really impressed with it. can use it casually or really pull the belt tight and it has kept my backside pinned into the back of the chair. very clever little bit of kit. and last but not least my handbrake, another richbrook item, perfect fit after a little alteration, feels really nice and matches my nismo titanium gear knob well, photo isn't great and doesn't really flatter the setup, but it has also mean ti could use my gear gaitor properly at last. when summer comes, or a nice sunny day, i'll clean the car and get some proper pics done. but i'd rather wait till i get the last few bits done like my wheels and door handles first. hopefully next weekend i will be doing carbon plenums and engine covers.
  18. i know diesel engines on cars are generally about 2-3k more than a petrol version, and i know a while back the maths for making a diesel cost effective was driving a miniumum of 25,000 miles a year for 3 years before you broke even on what you spent, after that you were saving money. didn't the lpg Zed blow up due to it running hotter in the engine or something.
  19. some pics from the day sorry they were late, only just got them off the camera
  20. not cost effective unless you drive big miles every year.
