  1. dammit stew you beat me to the saga comment do chelsea pensioners do insurance?
  2. i plan to swap to the pioneer avic 4100dvd unit. my pioneer f500bt has a built in mic and is built into my cubby, and then wired through the bose.
  3. 1) Rtbiscuit 2) Lamby 3) fatalus 4) Vik54 5) ikarus 6) Husky 7) Spen 8) corrado 9) P19DRO 1 more
  4. a few have, not heard any complaints, they are members on here, but i think they struggle to get on to the forum on a frequent basis. it works well abbey do the south of the country and RS do the north, both charge about the same and both seem to show similiar gains. i thought nurrish used RStuning?
  5. should be 35 psi sounds like you need to get your tracking checked and a wheel alignment done
  6. Yea I originally had a black one on order .... think they'll look good but I think I'd like silver first and then maybe a black so I can chop and change as my mood changes probably black on Blade : black on Azure silver on Blade silver on Azure think you maybe right, but i think black will suit all of them, silver just draws to much attention to the mouth. have a look on the website, they have a silver on silver, and it just make sit look to flat at the front.
  7. if your not far from Leicestershire, then go see CS. he'll give you an honest diagnosis, and an idea of cost before starting work. and if it looks like it will be expensive he'll ring to discuss it with you first before discussing. but to be honest, even if you had to drill out and retap the holes thats, not a major job. 5 minutes a hole maybe.
  8. sounds like a good mix. alex knows his stuff
  9. not heard of it before on the zed, and to be fair i didn't know there was one there. i have seen heatshields on other cars go but they were around the manifolds. i don't know what the operating space is like in there, but that would be the engineering solution. i'd try lots of coats of plus gas first over a 24 hour period and don't use a bi-hex socket. but my guess is the heads will probably sheer off on at least 2 of them if not all of them. if that happens revert to plan A
  10. a new time frame has been set, i think it best to sit back and see what happens, once the dead lines up, i think it might be a case of persuing it legally if the outcome isn't good. if they go to court over the car, you need to know where you stand and impartial legal advise would be beneficial. if they agree to do the work but require more time, then set some penalties if they agree to swap it to another garage, you set the time frame
  11. i'm looking forward to seeing how the black ones come out, i think they'll make a real big and positive difference to the front of the zed.
  12. it will be their for a purpose, most likely to reduce heat from the exhaust getting to something like wiring, or overheating the cabin area. grind off the heads of the old bolts, Drill out and re tap them then you can fit new bolts with a new heat shield.
  13. they do front wings and bonnets, i think they even had front bumper. but i don't think its right. and if your planning on painting them then its kind of a waste of carbon. to save cash, speak to R35LEE he should be able to supply you with a new door at the fraction of nissan prices. worst case scenario, you get a silver one and spend a couple of 100 £ getting it painted.
  14. ep racing sell them, although i have not seen anyone with them fitted yet.
  15. spend a fiver and get a tape converter then you can just plug your mp3 player direct into your stereo. far cheaper than swapping out and just as good
  16. thats a very good price, i got my 06 gt for £15k its the pre facelift 276 bhp engine. with 12,000 on the clock. but that was 14 months ago
  17. several people round the bury st edmund area, and quite a few of us down near ipswich. we do arange the odd meet round that area.
  18. i was panicking that my IT department had finally worked out i've been on here and worked out how to block the address thank god it was just down time at the server end, my naughty secret is safe.
  19. i remember reading about the ssv plenum, and it being slated for loosing power, and that its only really good if your going FI. it was a while ago, they may have changed it since then, but it seems over kill for an N/A car, BHP per £ spent isn't as cost effective as other methods of extracting N/A power
  20. we both came very close when i lived at home
  21. i finished uni and then moved home for a few years while i got my teaching career underway, i was earning next to no money while i trained and studied, with out my parents support i couldn't have done it, but as soon as i qualified i was gone. i love my mum , she's great, but anymore time than a week together and its like world war 3, we just can't get on that well over a prolonged period. i remember when i first met my wife, i did find it a bit embarrassing inviting her back to my parents. felt like a kid at under 25 and at home possibly fair enough, but i start to worry when someones nearly 40 and lived at home all their life. got to cut the apron strings sometime
  22. DMS also tune the haltech i think, abbey would be my first choice just because they do so much on the zed tuning front already
