  1. no way was it stolen, you need to jack the car to get enough access to get the front bolts, and to get to the rear bolts you'd need to be able to turn the wheel. and even then its almost an impossible job to reach, it really has to be a wheel off job to get it out. i reckon your garage forgot to put it back on. also if they jacked the car up, which they would have had to, it would have set the alarm off, most modern car alarms are designed to go off if they change angle. i.e. it shoul dhappen if your towed, or jacked, the idea being to stop people stealing wheels

their last few cars weren't perfect, i had a mk3 mr2 pre facelift and it suffered from piston ring failure, a known issue on the forums, for ages toyota denied all knowledge of this problem, but recently they acknowledge it, kind of

  5. seems like a clever idea, might reduce the amount of people asking the same questions, like whats it look like, whats a pop charger, does such and such fit my car, can someone photoshop me this or that etc etc. could be interesting. i might raid my photobucket account and see what i can find. although i'm planning some new photos soon once the car is nearing completion externally.
  6. looks like someone removed his sense of fear before birth

  8. if you want the best tyres, the michilin pilot sports are apparently the top ones but they cost top money as well
  9. don't know what they're like, if the toyos are availble in that size then possibly them, or try the falken 452's they are a popular one on here too.
  10. personally i'd pick the vredestein ultrac sessantas over the toyo's but thats personal preference. camskills have some of the best prices, so a good place to start.

i'm with stew on this, if its good enough it might be the zed replacement in 3/5 years time.
  12. i'm sure i only purchased 5 litres, can't remember, check the envy wewbiste on the service section, they sell the required amount, and its where i bought mine from and should tell you how much is needed/goes in
  13. death of the falcon means nothing much to me, was never really a ford lover anyway. admittedly it was nicer than the mustang and it was ozzie which did improve it.

    i actually like the spoiler
  15. a call to trading standards is required if the seller doesn't want to know
  16. No sh*t Sherlock! Its obviously an electrical fault, but where do I look? well my thinking is, if its a duff sensor, it just won't read right all the time. if it works for a while then not, my guess is something sin't connected right. my advice get the service manual out and track back the speedo wiring. i'd start in the fuse box first just to make sure it isn't a loose fuse. simplest answer is usually the best.
  17. loose connection somewhere maybe.
  18. forgot about the exhaust, might work if you had something like a K1 fitted
  19. i'm sure there would a universal fit one.

ok thats just got my attention, the previous version i saw was nice, b ut was never going to be suitable for me and i felt it was aimed at the younguns getting their first car. am more interested at what subaru have to offer, but i might be tempted to go for a more serious look when its released.
  21. i got mine fitted by my garage, but thats because it needed some tig welding
