  1. Burnt orange, A3 near Devils Punchbowl, then gun metal '03 coop in Warsash. Waved and grinned like a monkey, but hey, first spots while driving so was happy to see some folks with equally good taste ...
  2. Some t*t has swiped my aerial ... if anyone has one going begging please let me know ... cheers ...
  3. Picked mine up last Wed, and just peering at it from my window is making me grin like a tool ...
  4. Cheers, that Mike Cooper site looks good ...
  5. I've searched around and found IAM Adv course, can you suggest any other courses or particular track experiences that I could benefit from? Getting the advanced test seems standard, but things like defensive driving and other techniques (skid pans and the like) sound interesting. Any advice?
  6. 34 years young, picked up the Z today ... still grinning from ear to ear ... my other half is bored of hearing about it ...
  7. Quite an active bunch. Cheers for the welcome ... I'm in Sarf London, and usually take the A3 down South, but may introduce the Z to one of the A alternatives out of Milford tomorrow while trying not to make any RWD newbie errors ... Trading in the CTR, her time has passed though she did serve well. I already have questions, but they can wait until I've had a blast and can find the right place to post ... Later.
  8. ... they chanted. A quick hello (supposed to be working). Picking up the new (to me, 56 GT) Z tomorrow and it may have to be an afternoon touring the south coast to bed her in ... it's making me grin thinking about it ... Thanks for the welcomes from my first post last night, I'll probably be asking dumb-ass questions about Zs in the coming weeks so look out for me and go easy ... Later.
  9. Evening, I'm picking up my new Z (56 plate GT) on Tuesday, and after the test drive on the weekend, I am thinking of taking the day off to go on a tour of the south coast ... but anyway, the mind wanders ... I've been skulking around this forum and the Wiki looking for info and have to say I'm impressed by the distinctly un-chavvy nature of this place: my preconception was that a car related forum would be the domain of the hooner alone, and I am most definitely wrong. This chav discussion had me scanning all 15 pages ... and has seen me joining a forum for the first time. I don't have a whole lot to add, though it did remind me of this ... [or search for "Stephen Ireland Bentley"]. Kind of redefines chav and goes to show that money != taste. My personal reason for a Z is that it is a distinguished sports car: you don't see many on the road, the styling is just, well, different, you don't tend to see chavs or kids driving them, and I just don't want a TT or Porsche ... Anyway, catch y'all later ...
