  1. Ford policy is to build only "world cars" i.e.a few shared platforms applicable to all markets ....... you'll never ever get the likes of an RS200 again ....so if you like em ... buy one in fact Ford are presently considering the Mustang to be one of the next platforms to become a world car .... at the expense of the Ozzy Falcon i'd have ot see what they do with the next gen mustang platform, but i don't hold high hopes, its unlikely you'll find me in a yank tank unless i've hired one
  2. i'd only have one if some one gave it to me for free, and then i'd sell it straight away, and buy a proper sports car
  3. Absolutely right +1 i always check the driver of a car i overtake, and always make sure i can see whats behind me before a do anything
  4. next time you do a long drive, reset the counter fill up and see what you get.
  5. i avoiud it as much as possible, as people don't tend to check their left hand side as much as they do the right. they don't expect someone on their inside to come past, your more likely to have an accident. police look at it as your at fault. theoritcally they should pull the lane hogger
  6. ECU's have come a long way since then car self learns and adjusts its self accordingly, won't see massive gains or changes unless you get it remapped with an uprev retune. then it will make the most of what the car has to give. the nismo stuff is nice kit and not cheap either, the exhaust at the moment will set you back about £1200
  7. i'd get the scorpion, nice bit of kit,
  8. i do it, but if a cop wants to argue the point i'd back down over it, i'd rather have a telling off by a copper, than push them to the point where they issue a ticket. i teach my kids this all the time. take the bollocking, say sorry and get off lightly. arguing only ever makes it worse
  9. signed it, i wouldn't mind paying the amount in road tax and fuel duty if when i drive down a road it wasn't pot holed, or if i go on a long journey the roads are smooth wide and free from traffic and road works.
  10. Is your Z a UK spec? Question for all the people who know, does the Z always throw an error light for everything? IE engine temp sensor for the ECU, or out of calibration for the UK lambdas? Interesting to see all this talk of fuel consumption, guess it goes to show that some can discuss the subject My car is a December registered 56 plate so just turned three years old and its a UK spec GT. Flew through its MOT and has full nissan service. I have reset the monitor several times and I keep getting back to that magic 19mpg. do you mainly do short journeys? i'm only getting about 20mpg at the moment as i'm running rich and only doing short trips of 4 miles each way per day
  11. its only under taking if you pull back into the outside lane after
  12. thanks. think i might need to invest in a torque wrench, or borrow my dads for when i do the plenum
  13. if ford want to build a performance car they should leave the focus alone, and let it be a family shopping cart. instead go back to the days of the rs200, and make a revamped model of that. now that would be a car to buy
  14. that kind of spelling gives me a headache
  15. congrats, look forward to seeing what you get you stick with the 50, or going for a 70?
  16. i tried the demo of bioshock ages ago, was too scary for me i don't like halflife for the same reason,
