  1. thanks guy's. Don't get me wrong German is not all bad but a bit to over engineered and you don't feel as good behind the wheel.
  2. Well I have a late 2015 only just hit 1000 miles and my bluetooth cuts in and on audio and will loose the phone occasionally when I press the phone button on the steering wheel. Running an Iphone 6 with the latest 9.3 OS. I'm going to pop it into Nissan as I have never had this level of problems with any car. By the way love my Z, previously had a 350 and happy I'm back from the dark side of German cars.
  3. After selling my 350 3 years ago and venturing into various German sports cars I'm back from the dark side with my lovely new 370 . It feels good.

  5. Thanks for all the help guys. I took the fans off ready to replace them but would the contacts were a bit coroded which you could not see when installed. Cleaned these and they both came to life. Only thing now is that since the boil over due to the fans not working I get a faint smell of coolant once the engine id up to temp ( just below mid way on gauge) Cant find any leaks though. Also if I give the car a bit of stick I also get a arm rubber smell. Thought this may be slipping front belt but they seem ok.
  6. Thanks bud. With fans still fitted could only get the one on the NS to struggle into life. Can these be reconditioned or alternate units purchased in the UK. Want the car to remain std as pos.
  7. Have read quite a bit here about cooling fan problems and I think my Z may be a victim. Before I shell out a load on new fans I would like to test them and the temp switch. There are four wires going into the fans. Which should I apply 12v and ov to? Is the temp switch a straight switch once temp is reached or does it change resitance with temp and feed a control unit then relay. Oh and wheres the relay? Finally roughly what position will the temp gauge be in for the fans to cut in. Mine normally sits at just below half way when on a run. Thanks

  9. Hi I'm new here and Z's, just looking to buy a one. The car I'm looking at an 04 car that has had a Nismo cat back performance stainless exhaust system together with a Nismo induction system fitted. Now if I go a long way back to when I use to play with sorry, minis and escorts and the like making these sort of changes required a trip to a rolling road to reset the tuning due to back preseure changes etc. Will this be required with this change or will the ECU cope with it. Also what sort of power change would this produce and the resulting change on MPG thanks
