  1. thing is i need them off the car to work on, you'd really need a spare set to send painted ot me, otherwise your car would have no handles for about 10 days
  2. okay so if i spray my handles black you'll wrap them for me yeah. yeah don't mind doing that
  3. man do i really want to spray loads of door handles don't mind doing the wrapping, but don't have the space to set up a permanent spray shop. did those while i was at work, my workshop stank for a day, my boss would kill me if i start doing a set a day
  4. wasn't planning on doing this as a sell on, was just playing around i actually just stripped that handle back to plain paint, might fill the 3 dots first then re do also got a scratch in the drivers side one that needs a fill, and maybe 1 more coat of black, and a top coat of clear coat
  5. oops was thinking about getting a drink, meant to write brand
  6. must admit, i don't mind it, wouldn't pay £30,000 for one, but not bad. most prestige brands your paying for the badge, so no difference here. merc builds some nutter cars, and some sh1t little ones, doesn't mean they have diluted the water
  7. Got bored so ordered some CF DI-NOC vinyl to play with, i have other plans for it, but thought i'd try it out on something i have sat around at home waiting to go on to the car. had contemplated doing the whole handles, and although this stuff is not to bad to manhandle. the door handles are just too fiddly to do the whole thing. so will go another direction. any ways thought i'd share with you guys and i'll add more pics up when i've done the stuff i originally intended to do with it
  8. stubby ariel is black, but i suppose you could spray it, most use the honda S2000 jobbie, although apparently the lexus one is a better fit. or go to halfrauds and get a silver ripspeed stubby, but then i'm unsure of the quality of radio reception
  9. Very interesting, never heard that before and was considering getting some spacers for mine later in the year. Now I know to order smaller ones, nice one thats a new one on me as well, wonder how many facelift drivers have the larger spacers on?
  10. EP Racing, CS, Rik, Envy Think Zmanalex has the odd piece lying around, Envy are possibly the only ones with full originals although Rik did have a repaired original going spare. Usual price is over £2000, but Envy did have a special on for half price, don't know if they have any left Originals cost more, but your paying for the quality and fit. basically spray and fit. can pick up a copy for as little as £200 up to about £700 copies can end up costing the same depending on the amount of work required.
  11. do you not need these to stop the SC car, or are you thinking of going BBK
  12. left hand side can't remember the name but if you press it a couple of time syou'll see news flash up. press it again and the function will turn off
  13. I hate to disappoint you, but ferrari are no better, i do believe they are doing something identical with a small fiat
  14. there is a service station on the A14 between ipswich and bury, i used it about 2 weeks ago when going to meet sub zero. never ever again. the entrance road to it was in complete disrepair, so bad was it that i ground out the front of my bumper on a speed bump that had a huge pot hole on both sides. it actually dislodged the rubber aero lip on the front. and scuffed the undersides of the skirts. i'm not lowered at all and never ground out so shows how bad they were. it is a disgrace though, you pay for a service you don't get. like most things in the UK.
  15. Would this not be covered under nissan 3 year warranty? Mines 0707 so just in the 3 years. if its under warranty, nissan will just replace the headlight.
  16. did on a previous car, it means that the light is no longer air tight. if the car is sat up for a hot day, you could take the back of the headlight off and leave it to evaporate out. then seal it up again. not a permanent fix. but helps in the summer. long term fix, you'll need to take the headlight out, split it and reseal it properly. P15ULT should be able to advise on this.
  17. at the end of the day, they have to prove it was on the car in the first place. just buy a decent CAI and it shouldnt be a problem, personally i'd stay away from stainless steel mesh filters. stick with the known quantity like JWT, K&N, AEM, etc
  18. could everyone club together and buy the CD, then share it around so to speak?
  19. i already have a set, but they'd go quickly on here, and i don't think you'll be disappointed.
  20. thats a bargain of the century, they are usually £900
  21. seriously, try the vredesteins, same price as toyos but you'll notice the improvement
