i'd also remove the grille and mesh it, either trial fit a zunsport, or if it won;t fit ove rthe lip then get some decent quality mesh and do it.
don't buy cheap old ebay crap it will ruin the air flow to the rad. and look crap after 12 months
looks good,
nice little buy for someone as they could get the badge smoothed out at the same time for a more flush finish, could even mod the bumper by removing and flushing the side reflectors. would make for a very unique bumper.
could even have the lip blended in so it looked more oem.
lots of options to build a very unique front. without the hassle of having to remove their own front bumper or be without a car while the body shop had it.
GLWTS
i have a rattle with my HFC's after they were fitted, but it only happens at very low revs, i.e if i pull away in too high a gear etc. but apart form that nothing.
so i'll check my rear heat shields as thats where the noise is coming from. (i think)
don't forget also when swapping over to HFC/decats, most don't have the support that joins the 2 togther, so the exhaust has more flex than usual.
i think the Berks were the only one that put a new one back in.
demon plates are about £28 for a pair of front and rear standard plates.
i'll be using them for my front as i'll be keeping all the lettering and spacing etc legal, but i'll get them to custom size it and trim the plate down for me to a smaller size.
its very retro in styling,
i like it and loath it in the same space.
would love to see one close up and have a play in one.
there is one thing merc do well is the engine noise in their special AMG's the big engine ones just sound amazing like a spitfire sound out of some of those V8's
should have used demonplates at www.demonplates.com all there plates are legal but allow some play with what your after. even have a build your own plate section.
i think it was UPS that delivered my xbox back, they left it with a neighbour but didn't put any card through my door to tell me.
thats bad service, big time
about a week ago my washer jets stopped working, i thought i'd run out of fluid so topped up.
tried running the washers; but all i got was movement of wipers but no fluid at all. same on both sides which leads me to think its not blocked nozzles.
tried the headlight washers and they work fine
tried the rear washer that works fine.
re tried them this week (about 7 days since last trying) and i got a slight dribble but not the usual spray.
- do the washers all work off 1 pump? or do the fronts have a seperate pump.
- what should i be doing test wise to work out the problem?
- if i need to change a pump; where the hell is it in the engine bay?
- is it a bumper off job?
- is it an easy job?
for the F900BT, you need to be able to press the reset, eject, menu and map buttons all at the same time to initiate.
Looking at yours, I'm guessing the procedure is most likely to be different.
quite possibly then, as i have no eject button
yeah i reckon it will take 1 hour 20 minutes as well
why they picking on him so much thats really hard maths that is.
Only kidding i know full well that it only takes an hour
average speed doesn't bother me i just stick the cruise control on
but agree with the comment about only switching them on when the workers are actually there.
i'm sure you coould make a visit at one of the locations, or possibly scab a passenger seat off someone for the weekend.
would be your best bet of getting toknow the car better.
