  1. I reckon he'll leave it at that just to let people wait for ever on something that will never come.
  2. Was special wheat free crumble mix, not much in a pack though. Will double up next time.
  3. looks nice, needs spacers
  4. i love the celica GT4 especially with all the rally livery nearly bought one myself a while back
  5. rhubarb apple and blueberry actually
  6. shouldn't do, as it doesn't stick out into the hose area, i used a very thin card, so to be honest its hardly there
  7. blueflame exhaust
  8. shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh she doesn't know as for the cardboard gasket, there doesn't need to be one, i just put it there for extra pieco of mind, it just fills up any possible gaps. if it was a low down bumper mounted on i might be more concerned. but its mounted in the engine bay.
  9. and you saw the other side showing how knackered it had got, so anyhting other than that would have been better
  10. I have been planning this for ages had the parts for a while but not got round to doing the job, thought i'd share it so that others could do it, or at least know what size the parts are if you want to do something different Parts:- APEXI cone filter (from another member on here) APEXI Neck adapter (off ebay, i have one going spare as i got 2) 3" Silicone hose section (off ebay) 4 M6 x 20mm socket caps 2 3"-5" jubilee clips (have loads of these in my garage as i bought a job lot for a previous car project on the MR2) home made cardboard gasket just to help with sealing beween parts here are the parts all assembled you can see the difference in cones with the typhoon and apexi side by side and here they are fitted the reason i did this is that the apexi is a dry filter instead of oiled, which i prefer, and the apexi gives possibly some of the best filtration and breathability on the market. i know at the end of the day this will make very little difference to overall power but i wanted to be different and for piece of mind this is what i'd prefer to run
  11. Ok got it fitted, still a little bit more work to do to the slam panel
  12. my last 2 cars inc the zed were bought without seeing first. but both were from dealerships and if something wasn't right you can go backa nd see them about it. i wouldn't buy blind privately and guys he's only asked some questions, if you don't want to help leave the thread alone. if he acts like a plum then jump in and flame away. my 2p's worth

  15. i bought mine blind, but was in deep talks with the dealer, and they let me try it before signing off on it when they brought it down. should have 3 keys ( 2 remotes and 1 valet key,) should also have a little tag on the key ring with the transponder code on manual same as any car, and buying second hand not gaurenteed to have.
  16. then i'd go for a test drive in it and see if you like it, seems a good find. if alls good then buy it.
  17. if you can negotitate the price down a bit then its not a bad motor, holdcroft are pretty good, i delat with them in stoke and they were very helpful when i bought a honda from them. whats your budget?
  18. good starting point, lots of possibilities looking good

  20. spacers will make a big difference
  21. on my old MR2 i used to use Raggtop cleaner and protector, worked very well and easy to use and didn't leave a greasy residue that with some others used to come off in the rain and run down the windows. would defo reccomend Raggtop
