never thouht about fitting a gauze to the nostril, nothing to say you can't, if you go to halfrauds and look in the body shop section, they have an aluminium gauze used for repairing across wide areas and would do the job, just shape it over the rear and bond in place, then fir it to the bumper.

your looking at around £300 for spraying, but thats if its just a straight spray, most replicas require extra work to get them to the point of spraying, depending on the quality of the bumper depends on the over all cost outcome

if your running short ram i'd look at getting a nostril for the bumper to let more air into intake. this should mean you'll only get heat soak at low speeds and traffic, but once on the move all should be good and you should see better benefits. never come across either of the filter systems. but look forward to seeing the new setup. as for power loss with all things NA gains and losses are always fairly small to be honest i doubt the butt dyno would notice.
