  3. an olddy but a goody
  4. i really don;'t think they got a true reading., yes its definitly down on power but i think it unlikely that much. not saying your lying, or that the bloke hasn't doen his job, but it needs about 6 runs to get a true reading. if its a UK get a decent piece of ECU software like digimoto on it and you can read the AFR's direct off the ECU.
  5. need to see the print out, can't work out anything without seeing the AFR's how many runs did he do. car needs about six runs to get a true reading.
  6. looking really good
  7. i got the bonnet lifter via bladesgrant off him. one side is missing both clips to hold the ball joints in and one has a piece of wire jammed in so the ball joint doesn't move. basically rendering them useless i have them in the workshop at the moment working my magic on them. i have some clips i can nick off something else, but i'm struggling to release the ball joint. i too would like to meet this man as for your problems cragus, it would have needed to have been sent by special delivery, as thats the only thing that covers the insurance of the item. and that would have been next day delivery, scanned in and scanned out etc. usually get 2 reciepts, one for tracking and it has a long number on it and the other a reciept fo rhow much you spent. some times the reciept for the cash has a long number on it and they can track it through that. if the post office have lost it you can claimk it back from them, but if the insurance was just unrecorded first class, then its only £30 you can get back which means he owes you £120 his fault for posting it unrecorded his problem, and his pocket thats going to get hit., not yours cragus. you got a copy of his address? moderator note - removed personal comment to keep thread above board
  8. cos i know how you are with the clear liquid of dreams its more that he doesn't understand the word "moderation"
  9. yep the esprit isn't cheap, and as far as i'm aware there aren't any "cheaper verisons" available
  10. the esprit kit is a really nice piece of kit. the whole esprit car is
  11. thats got to add at least 50 bhp to a car
  12. erenso has a nismo you guys might be able to do a swap as he's looking for a change
  13. personally for resale i like to have a decent stamp in mine. its out of warranty now so main dealer isn't going to do it. even in warranty i'm dubious about letting nissan touch it. i think your local to me, i highly reccomend Team AFM at martlesham. they are motorsport mechanics and do alot of work on mine and they are very good with cars, come resale time it will show that the car has been well looked after. i bought my own consumables, so the price they charged me was about £220 ish i think. that also includes millers racing brake fluid which they supplied for me as they had a special on it at the time. they'll even follow the service to your instruction, i found exactly what was required on the forum for that mileage and service and they did it all. well worth a ring.
  14. Good luck and I'll see you in the married club soon.
  15. happy birthday ya big gay bear
  16. bollocks to you too martin, just cos you can say it in spanish doesn't make it any better.
  17. Thought it was 92? might be, all i remember is that me and my mate both had the same car mine was a 91 reg and his was a 94, mine could have de cats his couldn't
  18. 1994 was when cat's became compulsory but its measured on emmissions so unless they actually get under your car they aren't going to know.
  19. i just ordered USDM ones from there as well as UK rear. do you know what size you want, Measure the bracket, then find the plate size. can all be done on the plate builder part. or ring them and get a custom size made up for yourself.
  20. i to average 22-25 mpg costs £86 last fill up from empty get roughly 350 miles to the tank. mines a UK car so has the bigger fuel tank
  21. Yeah, but the car won't pass with them fitted i've heard of people passing with de cats in
