  1. i know mine works as i locked my wife in the car at the video shop
  2. slam panels don't just fall off
  3. i'd actually aim for the £1000 mark, leaving you money for other goodies. i'd say get the fujibitshi thingy one off ebay that edgy is selling, then get sport cats, maybe a y pipe and still have money for a remap.
  4. my dad was in the navy and he used to say "if your fighting with the yanks let them go first. they go out with the finger ojn the trigger and shoot anything in front of them" i think the yanks go more on adrenaline than training
  5. nissan performance cars have always had porsche in their sights, the aim to build a better car for less, or at least faster. 350z was aimed at the boxster market and beating the boxster 370z target was the cayman gtr target was the 911
  6. if you want to try it i have some mirror finish vinyl, i could send you enough to do the b pillars, and if you dont like it you caqn peel it off. no one gets anywhere without trying new things. thats how bum sex was invented
  7. fully agree i like the real stuff, but i got the slam panel for £15 thought most of the marks would polish out, they didn't i covered it. bobs your uncle.
  8. chris thats what i said, i don't think he can get what he wants within the budget price range. i don't want to recommend something for him to spend £200 odd quid to only come back on and find they are nothing close to what he needs.
  9. i think you can get pagid pads for the 350z. if there is a brand you like, might be worth sticking with. not sure on price though
  10. yanks are a liability i've heard all kinds of stories of their stupidity in the field. they are gun happy and poorly trained. they use english signs at checkpoints in an arabic speaking country, and then shoot people for not stopping when they can't read the sign. its why the brits are there to do it properly and clean up the yank mess. brits use arabic road signs, have translators, and don't shoot anything that walks yanks are the reason we no longer use the phrase friendly fire as the yanks shot so many friendlys its now known as blue on blue
  11. That's a really good deal. I have the older version and it's a great piece of kit. I might invest in a new one for me, and shift the old one to the passenger side.
  12. are they the same cars stew, that looks like a skyline GT500 and says so on the you tube where as i though the top one was a 350z gt500 just looking at the rear quarter windows
  13. all the talk of the cayman i had to go and have a browse, i absolutely love the exterior, stunning cars, far nicer than the standard boxster or 911 i think the cayman is more sleek. but the one thing i'm struggling with is the interior of them. from the pictures they just seem very clinical. and i'm just not feeling it. may be need to go and have a look at one. the 370 is becoming a more and more viable option
  14. if service history is patchy a full P3 service is what i'd do. whats your location as there a re a few zed specialist garages that might be able to help you out
  15. like nixy though i've not come across a policy in a long long time that doesn't have seperate window cover. insurers worked out years ago its cheaper to offer repairs than to replace so most have it in the policy
  16. inline roller skate with only 2 wheels and a wheezing mouse for power
  17. yellow stuff are an improvement over standard, but not as good as the ds2500 from what i've heard. and from how you explain your driving style it sounds like you need something more track orientated. check envy website for PF pad prices, but not cheap if i remember rightly. it sounds like your going to have to spend some proper cash as what would be fine and an improvement for normal people i think will not be to your standard or requirement. i think we have another greekman on our hands
  18. what is it a roller skate with a hair drier
  19. worse than a cheekychento has he borrowed noddy's car
  20. should normally be covered under a window excess of about £60 if he can leave it, then wait till renewal find an insurer with decent window cover, join them, then claim
  21. red stuff is barely comparable to standard if a smidge above, yellow is better, but if you don't rate the ds2500's then budget wise your in a bit of a sh1tter. thats one of the pads that lots like to use. next step might be to try performance friction pads. more money but good reviews, popular with the track car people. or look at DBA or Dixcel. but for full pad and disc setup your looking the best part of £1000 not sure what project mu pads are like for price, but they are good quality as well
