  1. places like abbey and DMS will have different setups available. i've had a full fast road setup done for my car done at DMS.
  2. some times they caqn end up under the passenger seat. or down where the tyre change tools are. or in the glove boxes behind the passenger seat. but if that all fails then a new key will be required and as ekona pointed out, its not a ball breaker of a cost.
  3. i think i might have to wire up some paint ball guns in my grille and go and hunt them down.
  4. both weird, but both worth a look, i love unique cars.
  5. i can see enough to drive but it doesn't make it easy. i know that in a court of law its not illegal to leave your main beams on by accident but it is against the law to have fog lights on when its not foggy. so it won't be my insurance company paying out if they drive into me.
  6. I tend to do the same if i had front mounted 50. cal cannons i'd use them.
  7. have you tried in the spare tyre well?
  8. get some proper fitting rims for it, if a jobs worth doing; its worth doing properly.
  9. you already know my view on this already. legal action is a waste of energy, be glad to move on, but also just drop a few helpful emails to the right agencies etc and leave a bit of a sh1t storm for the LL after you've left.
  10. I have a UK spec Ballast going spare if thats any help?
  11. go to an MOT test centre they have a special tool that the lights shine into so when they adjust them they get the level pefect on both sides. this also means they won't be set to blind people.
  12. the ones for tiremoni do look lik e stock black ones, so might escape the light fingers of our local scum.
  13. if someone drives towards me with fogs on i turn my very strong full beams on. and leave them on till i've passed them. i find a lot of fogs blind me when i'm heading towards a car with them on. so i like to return the favour.
  14. i thought the Zed came with a staggered setup from the factory. i know the rays are staggered, so were the 19" nismos and the gt4 wheels. were the stock oem sizes a square setup? i would have thought the car would be set to the wheels. all systems would have to be set up once the cars built as each car is different.
  15. the only downside with the in tyre setup is that i don't keep cars all that long so chaniging the system over to the next car might be a pian for me as i'd have to take the tyres off to get the inside ones off. i'm liking the external fit ones, just peed off i don't trust the general british public.
  16. The genuine ones are only in red though aren't they? I wanted blue or CF.... likwidart are the only people that can offer the Tommy K in a variety of colours. the originals are more chunky and only in red. horses for courses etc. if you like the tommy k copies then have a seaqrch on here, lots of posts and photos on them.
  17. its all down to driving style and technique. watch days of thunder its all explained in that classic movie
  18. it looks good, but i prefer the ones where the sensor is mounted inside the wheel. nothing to nick sadly the UK doesn't offer civilised. as we have chav scum in wide abundance.
  19. only 2 choices in the south east for wheel alignment and thats DMS and Abbey. both good and both know their stuff, if your having a range of stuff done as well as wheels then abbey seem a good bet. i was down at DMS 2 weeks ago to have mine done and it is very good now.
  20. if you go for a square setup you'll need to get the Geo altered to set the car up best for handling. the Geo alterations will hopefully put back in some of the steering control and grip change you'll get from the new setup.
  21. i keep going to look at the pictures of it, i like the colour, but i've come to realise the GTR does nothing for me; nothing emotionally stirs what so ever. i repsect ti for its technical ability; but for me its not a direction i could ever see myslef going in. Hugh it definetly looks a quality example and the colour sets it off from the rest very nicely. go check it out and if you have the cash and you feel those heart strings tugging then its going to be the car for you. buying a car like this is a heart over head matter. and if the wallet isn't going to groan over it then go and enjoy yourself. you only live once, and you can't spend it when your dead.
  22. can't believe the dealership part ex prices though; i got 12.5k for mine and it was 12 months older than yours and with an extra 6k on the clock. and pre facelift, porsche certainly seem to be a bunch of tight arses when it come to PX, i hope you knocked them down a good chunk on the purchase cost.
  23. i was thinking this the other day, i reckon it would be a cracking buy. a lot of car for the money especially 2nd hand uber comfortable as well
