  1. 350bhp is possible eithe rNA turbo or supercharger but either way you'll end up spending hugh amount of money to do it.
  2. thats more like a metallic magenta than pink
  3. its a major ballache, it needs to be professional injection moulded. making the moulds costs a small fortune to start with then you need a minimum order for processing; something like 2000 keys minimum order. and because its such a short run the costs are very high. as re re coding another manufactuers key to the zed i don't think will work, they wont talk to each other
  4. +1 on the airfield days well worth the money
  5. welcome and congratulations on the purchase
  6. :pmr35lee: he has every part going for the zed
  7. my S2k decided to remind me of greasey roads 2 days ago, i have no traction control but find the car so well balanced that it is very controlable. i don't feel worried that i don't have traction control like the zed. road was terribly greasy,
  8. theres nothing wrong with the zeds handling; people just need to do some driver training days so they know what it does and how to fix it. the zed has traction control and esp so most of the time it will save noobs from minor hits. people get used to FWD and try and drive a RWD the same the zed or any RWD should not be something to be feared or kept for sunny days only, like any tool it just has to be learnt to be used properly.
  9. i had the 2.4 alfa 159 diesel as a courtesy car a couple of years ago and thought it was really good. same engine in the brera. 5 cylinder and turbo, doesnt sound too diesely and with a remap has 250bhp and 500nm of torque, not the quickest 0-60 but very posh inside. will look at the bmw's tonight.
  10. i really really really fancy an alfa for some strange unknown reason, i love the looks of them the interiors etc and i especially love the brera. i'd love the V6 4wd version, but i just think with all the costs i'll end up hating it for what it costs. but the 2.4 diesel offers the same package but a slightly different delivery. i will have a look the bmw's though, i know the bmw engines are good.
  11. use a good calculator to check http://www.willtheyfit.com/ put the stock sizes in then the new ones and fiddle with the profiles and widths etc to find the closest match.
  12. i had that one recently; i wasn't sure so i went onto a new browser and checked paypal directly, the email address was what made it hard to figure. i never click on the link in an email if i'm not sure though i suspect alot might get caught out;
  13. i priced this up and its just uneconomical to do; the end cost of the keys would just be stupid, there just isn't enough zeds and zed owners to bother trying. who ever did it would end out of pocket if they go down the OEM flip key style route.
  14. Then at least fix your rounding error meh! its close enough for me its not like the rounding error is going to make a v6 cheaper than a diesel
  15. if its 3 pin you only need to wire up 2 of them most likely the middle pin and one outside pin
  16. think its a straight swap, plenty have done it before :pmr35lee: he usually has plenty of brembos laying about
  17. i wanted some of the other infos in there.
  18. i'd get a set of enkei RPF01's for light weight racing, but if your sticking to the rays then paint them bronze and be done with it
  19. Im pretty sure its down to Set your cruise control, where as up is to resume the speed you set your cruise at previously... if you put your foot down to overtake or something (After turning it on of-course) more than likely i haven't driven a zed in 8 months so memory is a bit hazey
  20. husky is never right don't ever tell him that; he'll get the wrong idea and start telling people all kind of crap. the last diesel was because of the mental mileage i was doing and swapped out as soon as the job changed, but now its more the fact that i'm trying to be sensible with my money. i love my cars but when it starts to use nearly a quarter of your yearly income and my salary is actually getting less its possibly time for a reality check. diesel may not be my first choice, but having money to live on is. if i win the lottery though all this logic goes out the window
