  1. love the alfa stuff, but from what i've heard the guilletta is a bit of a let down, might be worth trying to get a 2nd hand brera.
  2. i must admit i haven't bought any ska for ages, was into spunge in the early 2000's when at uni. still like a good skankin tune though
  3. we couldn't have this thread without a bit of spunge one of my favourites. lexx by the way there are some great tracks in there.
  4. i have the full maddness back catalogue, plus several spunge albums, the history of ska and a load of other stuff. i love my Ska music
  5. yes i too have suffered muppetcourieritis it seems to affect their ability to read, or leave a note. for instance when the collection instructions say, "package in the back garden, you would kind of hope that a normal person would go through the gate a pick it up. but no they don't read that bit. and then put a card in telling you that you weren't there. talk about stating the f"ing obvious, i know i wasn't there, thats why i put the package in the back garden took them a week to work it out
  6. nissan micra convertible, but with a flux capacitor fitted
  7. did your house mate get a TVR griffith or something of that ilk
  8. there is and i hope to have it by the end of this year
  9. did the side skirts turn up alright?
  10. sometimes adding a bit of heat with a hairdrier can help. its the difficulty when they are really tiny. i also fold the application tape back on itself when i peel it back and have my fingers on the leading edge as you peel back.
  11. Looking really good Jim, am glad you like them, although i don't think you realise how difficult they are to weed when they are that small. it was clsoe to open heart surgery keeping the letters in place when removing the waste vinyl more than happy to sort others out if they like them just drop me a PM or email me at richard@rtcustomz.co.uk
  12. as far as i'm aware, no elbow grease need apply, the vinyl is thick enough to cover the dimples with out leaving a mark. the ones i have to test on havebeen chewed up by their owner with a dremmel to the point where painting isa not an easy resurection . so hoping the vinyl will do the job. it should be the same as the DI-noc stuff the others hlike BM have used on their dash and as far as i'm aware they didn't rub them down first.
  13. i'm hoping to be able to wrap the dash in any colour people want. got some new stuff to try out, have a customer lined up and hopefully be able to post results next week.
  14. i suppose because i'm surrounded by them at work i have a different perspective, 8 sixth formers in 8 months all crashed, 5 were right offs; doesn't instill you with confidence, i think there may have been more, but only about 30 of the sixth formers drive, so thats nearly a third of them having a crash.
  15. nope but the majority who are sully the young drivers name for all the ones who are safe.
  16. and this is why under 25's should be limited to a maximum of a 1.4 litre engine. or as you progress through the years after passing your test each year you can gain .1 of a litre. so when you pass you start on a 1 litre or less. then 1.1 , 1.2, 1.3 , 1.4, etc by 25 you'd be allowed 2 litre, and at say 27 or 28 you could be allowed 3 litres + Dons flame proof suit
  17. i had my mr2 roadster on autotrader for 18 months, i think i win
  18. i did the manifolds on my old mr2 roadster several times and did mates as well. now they are easy to get onto; first time round took 2 hours, by the 4th time i got it down to 40 minutes. but bolts are a big slow down, the first time round i had 1 rusted bolt that needed to be split and cut off. as it just mullered itself onto the original manifold. i toyed with the idea on the zed, i looked and i realised how much stuff you have to get past to get on to the bolts with any ease. i then shut the bonnet and put the thought to the back of my head.
  19. autotrader was a pain in the arse for me, happy to take your money, but only sold 1 out 3 cars that way.
  20. congrats on the sale, look forward to seeing what comes next, all the ones listed above are good cars,
